Do an Iranian need a visa to travel to Venezuela?
Visa would be a smart idea to travel anywhere but yes they do.
Unfortunately in the public it is said that Iranians do not need visa, but according to my recent experience that occurred this month Jan 2012 they do need visa of Venezuela in order to travel to this country.
I wanted to travel to Venezuela via Colombia but the Venzuelan police in the barrier of Colombia told me that Iranians as well as many other countries of Middle East such as Iraq, Lebanon, etc. need visa in order to travel to Venezuela.
I think it is just an advertisement that Venezuela is doing to say to the world that it is a free country and it is a political trick! not more.
So I suggest to everybody specially the Middle Easterns to assure about having a trip and journey to other countries in advanced in order to prevent the likely problems that they might have in their trip!

Additionally, the Shahs employed strategic alliances and military prowess to expand their territory and influence, further entrenching their power. Iranian Answer
Never, Iran is too powerful for the West/Israel to attack. Iranians have something called Nationalistic Pride which is they will ALL fight for an independent country. Iran has never been occupied by a foreign power for more than 12 years. If you go to war with Iran, its a war against 69 Million male, female, children and the elderly. You cannot win. Iraq was being supported by 74 countries with military, information and money during the 8 year war with Iran, and they still lost. Iranians are very patriotic and will fight to the last man/woman.
So to answer your Question, not in a million years, Unless the West wants another Vietnam.
Western Answer
Western countries are hesitant to engage in a military struggle with Iran, not because they fear loss, but because Iran does have a strong military that would make such a war costly and difficult. However, as time goes by, it becomes more and more likely that Israel or the United States will plan some sort of overt attack on Iran in an attempt to halt their nuclear program. Timetables for such attacks are constantly modified and it is unlikely, unless you know somebody in Intelligence, that you can find out the exact date and time.
Update: Because of the Iran Nuclear Deal reached in July 2015, the possibility of such an attack has diminished significantly.

Did the Spartans win the war against the Persians and were they gay?
The Spartans were part of an alliance of southern Greek city-states which defeated the Persian invasion in 480-479 BCE.
Their males were married late after they had proved themselves as warriors. There was a firm sanction against pre-marital sex for women, so until males married, many formed sexual alliance with boys, but became married in due course and lived heterosexual lives thereafter. The boy when they grew up continued the same pattern.
This is a pattern of life still practised today (eg Sikhs) where there is a strong taboo against pre-marital sex, where adolescents substitute until legal heterosexual can be established.
