The ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative can mean a high performer innovative thinker. But in more general terms, these traits mean you do not need to constantly ask a supervisor or peer for help. You see a task that needs done, that you are confident to do, and simply do it. You take initiative from inner prompting of ethical work activities. Here are two examples:
Employee 1 was given 10 tasks to do. He finishes those tasks quickly and completely. He then secretly starts to surf the Internet using his cellphone. When his supervisor passes by, he pretends to be reading one of the files (which he already completed). He takes frequent bathroom breaks; he cannot be found at his desk. He starts another set of files, but does not finish them. He does very little "work" while at work.
Employee 2 also had 10 tasks to do. She isn't quite as fast as Employee 1 but she also finishes her work completely and quickly. She sees her supervisor is on the phone, but the employee knows there are more files that need work. She picks up another stack, and begins working. When she finishes, she notices a peer is struggling to do a task, so she offers to help the other employee. When done, she picks up another set of files to work on. During a break, she notices the office coffee pot is empty; she stops to wash the pot and set it back up to brew more coffee. On the way back to her desk, she sees files toppled over onto the floor--she picks them up and checks that nothing is amiss. Throughout the day, she completes 10x more more than Employee 1.
How long does it take for a person to get a job after filling an application?
That depends on the employer. I've had employers call me the same day I filled out the application. The longest time I waited? I filled out an application in January and they called me in July! I'd forgotten I'd even applied! But it was one of the best jobs ever -- and worth the wait! Yinzer's right! Just be aware that the hiring process takes longer than most candidates realize. The hiring manger has to do first and often second interviews for multiple candidates, check references, and often communicate with an HR dept., corporate office or regional manager. Even if they need to fill the position and are eager to hire someone, it takes time. A good average is probably 3-12 weeks for many positions.

When replying to this, you should talk about what things you will bring to the company. If you are good with others, you should talk about that.
How do you find a no experience job?
You can get a job in Fast Food... like at McDonald's or Burger King, or a college cafeteria. Sometimes that is a good route to go, because they promote quickly if you are a hard worker. You could also get a job as a salesperson at a lot of places... your local mall, or something similar. You could sell anything from shoes to cell phones. You could work at a call center. Lots of companies have in-bound call centers where you answer phones. Others have outbound, where you make sales calls all day. You could be a driver. If you have a good driving record, you could get a job as a delivery person for DHL or a Pizza delivery place, for instance. If you are enrolled in college, many times they have work-study positions, so that you can learn something about your major while you are working. That is a great way to get something on your resume while you are going to school.
Should you admit your felonies on a job application?
The majority of job applications ask if you have had any felony charges. It is highly important that you admit these on the application. Otherwise, the hiring manager may find out when running a background check and view your lack of information as dishonesty.

The objective of a work objective is the clear communication of expected performance. The preceding objectives are clear, measurable, and time-tied. The objective is clarity, which does not necessarily mean brevity.

Review the qualifications and requirements for the position for which you are applying before attending the job interview. Knowing what is required will make it easier to answer this question. You can match your skills and experiences with the job description.
Caliper test questions samples?
Having taken this test (sales version) in the past and apparently fit the profile they were seeking, I'd say the best way to answer is with a careful consideration of the question and then your first instinct. I was a TERRIBLE student in all subjects so it could not have been my knowledge or IQ. Additionally, you don't want to try and outsmart these kinds of tests as they are also designed to indicate/flag those types of responses. This test has been developed and modified over many years and with a tremendous amount of data. I would consider it a favor to the candidate that the potential employer would spend the resources to find a mutual fit. If you do not get the job, then it probably was truly not a good fit and you can move on to the next opportunity. The test engineers indicate that the test is only a component to the interview process, so don't think that if the profile is not perfect the hiring manager will choose to ignore the data. I'd say good luck, but you are lucky they think enough of you at this point to put in the energy and cost to insure a mutual fit.

When a job is closed for application, it can mean that the employer has begun selecting candidates for interviews. I attended a session at 6:00pm. The presenter gave what was called a
barometer test for the civil service exam. This test had ten questions &
is designed for failure to substantiate the need for a correspondence course
for SNTS (State, National, Training, Service:

are $150.00 to $895.00 & maybe more.
In the audience of 60 people only one person passed this test by scoring
seven or more correct. He was directed to leave, go home & call
703-724-1850 to apply. The rest of us were duped to believe that we were
not smart enough & needed further educational assistance. It was stated
that SNTS would actually coach a person more effectively to pass the civil
service exam.
At the end of the session he stated that we could either stay to enroll
(pay a fee) or that he'd be available for further enrollment the next
morning 110806 from 8:30 to 9:30am in the restaurant attached to the hotel.
The restaurant being The Hoffman House.
The morning prior to the meeting, I called the above number. The man at the
other end of the line stated that the civil service exam is no longer used &
that while SNTS might be an actual business, what they do may not be legal.
Encouragement to avoid SNTS was given.

civil service exam is not used.

I went to the restaurant at 9:00am to confront the man. There were two
other people at the table & one of them, a lady, had already started a
confrontation about his scam. She & I went to the Hotel Manager & spoke
with him about it. He stated that he would contact local Chamber Of
Commerce & The Better Business Bureau. When I went back to the restaurant
he was gone.
I called the local newspaper to report this because it was sourced in the posting
at careerbuilder. A woman said she would look into it. I called the Chamber Of Commerce
& was directed to the BBB. I called BBB. My statement was recorded & she told me that BBB
was aware of this issue. I also e-mailed Careerbuilder.com to investigate the matter.
I almost lost $600.00 dollars that day. Who knows how many other people paid this man.

You may want to mention the patience you had in helping the customer solve his issue. In tech support, we avoided stating to the customer that they were wrong. Instead, we worked to find out what happened, what was the current status and then fixed the problem. This keeps the conversation positive and, since there is not really any use in blaming the customer, fixing the issue to their satisfaction (or as near as you can), even in a different way than requested, is great.
