This is s a great question and a perfect opportunity for you to really sell yourself. I would advise that you talk positively about yourself but making it relevant to the job you are applying for.
I would also suggest just briefly going back 5 years but focussing on your most recent experience.

There are many times in a persons life where they may have provided excellent customer service. They may have been working in a department store and helped someone exchange something for example.

It depends on who is responding to the question. It also matters if you are filling up the cup, or drinking it.

I suggest you do not ask a question, but rather a statement, like, "The cup is 1/4 filled." or "The cup is 3/4 filled." I assume you noticed I said "Filled" instead of "Full" or "Empty". But, since there is the one in a million chance that one of us has some crazy awesome mad skill, I guess you should ask "Does the pot have half of the pasta it can hold?" but add "And you can't say if it's filled!". So, the cup is half filled.
