Believe it or not I found it myself. After many different suggestions and several people swearing it was in the fuse box under the hood, I finally found one person who actually knew at the delarship. In the 2003 Kia Optima it is located in the dash behind the radio. Sounds crazy I know but that is where mine was. If you remove the trim panel around the radio, its located behind the ash tray (no need to actually pull the radio). There are two relays, the lower one is your fuel pump. The other is the main relay.
Where can i find the Kia throttle position sensor?
well it depends on the model of Kia, sideways or rear wheel drive, but generally TPS sensor is mounted on the throttle dody , some on the top , most on the side.
On my 02 Sedona. It is mounted on the back side of the throtle body. Mine went bad and I had to replace the complete throtle body unit. They do not sell only the sensor and it is a dealer only part but it is easy to install yourself if you are mechanicaly inclinded.

How do you change the serpentine belt on a 2005 Kia Optima?
If it is anything like my 2004 Kia Optima with the 2.4l that comes with aircondition, it is relatively painless.
First - open the hood and look to the passenger side of the engine. In between the block and the belt tensioner there are two 14 mm nuts. The one hidden down by the block is the securing bolt (1) - the one out front (2) is used for tension adjustment.
Loosen bolt number 1 then loosen bolt number 2 - the belt will become loose. Keep going until you can literally pull the belt off the top pully's then work the belt off of the rest of the pulleys (if you have trouble just leave the belt in place; the next step will make it easier to remove the belt).
Now jack the car up and remove the passenger side front tire. Behind the tire is a plastic shield. Using a 10 mm socket with an extension remove the 3 bolts holding this shield and pull this down and out.
Now get under the care near the passenger side front and locate a second plastic shield. Remove the 2 bolts and the shield comes right off.
Now you should be able to see the main crank pulley and the bottom part of the air conditiong pump. If you didn't remove it before before - remove the belt from the bottom.
Take your new belt and wrap it around the main shaft then snake it around the underside of the air conditioning pump. Go back up top and work the belt around the rest of the pulleys.
Make sure the belt is seated properly and tension it back up. Be sure to secure the tensioner bolt. Just for kicks start the car and see if there are any squeaks with the air conditioning running. If there are then tighten the tensioner by redoing the process until there are no more squeaks. If there are still squeaks then something else is going on. Could be a dirty pulley or bad bearing(?)
Replace the plastic shields and the front tire. Viola' you're done.
All done for about $30 and a little time.

Copied from elsewhere: I've tried it and it works, takes only a few minutes. You must reprogram existing remotes at the same time, otherwise only the newly programmed unit will function.
Tools Needed:
- 1 or 2 OEM Key Fobs.
- 1.5 foot of electrical wire, with ends stripped, approximately 22 gauge. (Jumper Wire).
Steps:
- Open the hood of your SUV.
- Behind the battery on the drivers side is a plastic covered connector labeled Diagnostics.
- Open the plastic cover on the Diagnostics port by pulling up on the edge near the FRONT of the vehicle.
- Get your prepped/stripped jumper wire and place one end in connector 6 as shown in the pictures.
- Run the other end of the jumper wire to the POSITIVE terminal on your battery, you can just push it into the little opening on there so it stays in place for a few minutes.
- Get into your vehicle with your key fobs.
- Put one key into your ignition and turn to ON position, DO NOT start your vehicle.
- If you just have ONE key fob to reprogram, when you turn the vehicle to ON, hold the LOCK button down for 3 seconds, the lights on the dash will go off, and you are done. Turn the key off, disconnect the wire, and try the key fob.
- If you have TWO key fobs to reprogram, turn the key to ON, hold the first LOCK button for 1 second, then the second one for 1 second. Turn the key off after the lights on the dash go off and remove the jumper wire. Test both Key Fobs.

you have to take the passenger side front tire off. then take the timing cover off and it is next to the oil sprocket. to take it out and replace you have to take the timing belt off, and if you have a/c you will have to take that off as well. the cable runs between the timing housing and the a/c pump.

I had that problem. Take off your plastic engine cover and examine the spark plug wires. I guess that animals like to make nests in between the cover and the engine. A mouse chewed just enough of one spark plug wire to cause a bad hesitation rather regularly. Good luck!

I have a 2007 Kia sorento. Just bought a key fob. Everything I am finding on the net is saying this Get a jumper wire. Small wire, almost like an alligator clip with one end striped. Open the diagnostic port behind the battery. Locate terminal 6, which is the second one from the top in the first row of eight. (if you are looking at it the first row of eight is the one on the right) Put one end of your jumper in slot six and connect the other end to the positive of your battery Turn ignition to on. Do not star engine Hold down the lock button on fob for three seconds. Dash light should go off Disconnect wire Turn off ignition and try fob I'm trying this but with no luck Let me know if it works for you Good luck I have also changed the oil and trans fluid if you need help with that
