All Kia engines are in house. They design them, they build them. Hyundai has little if no input whatsoever. Kia used to use engines from Rover and parts from Mazda but no longer thankfully

i respectfully disagree , just pulled apart a Kia 2009 v6 ,has Hyundai stamped on the crankshaft , will send jpeg image if you want . the Kia and Hyundai plant is the same one.

Kia is building its own plant in southwest Ga. to start making engines here in U.S., but they will also be used in Hyundai autos assembled in U.S... Kia Mtrs. of America.

if you look in the boot in the corner at the back end of the car there should be 2 plastic covers, the lights are behind these

I had a KIA approved tow bar install by the KIa dealer and I can easily pull my 19ft Bayliner. There might be a height problem but an extend-able tow bar fixes that problem

Though I have not confrimed (since I can't locate my manual) it seems that it needs 5W20 oil...Good luck! Spent a couple hours online to find out but no luck...Just a guess from another FaQ forum...

Faulty engine

To remove a radio from a 2006 Kia Rio, you need to disconnect the negative battery terminal. Next, remove the upper panel and the mounting screws.

Take your beautiful Kia to a mechanic man to do that job for you

look under the car, its just below the back drivers side door, you will see the filter there, its black if its factory and it has three hoses coming off it, basically, find ur gas tank and work ur way to the front of the car following the lines and you will find the filter. Right by the tire more or less. Cant miss it really...

Most likely it is due to the fuel filter getting clogged. They are really cheap and easy to replace so this a good place to start. Could also be a dirty air filter, which is also cheap and easy to replace. If that doesn't fix it, it could be the sparks plugs getting weak or fouled. Most likely it's goona be one of those, and they are all usually replaced (except for the fuel filter) during a normal routine tune-up anyway, so if you haven't gotten your tune-up done lately now might be a really good time to do it. Its actually pretty easy. First you pop the trunk, look at the ight to find 2, yes 2 screws holding it on, unscrew those screws and viola, the light comes out, then uscrew, with hands the bulb out.

Go to wal-mart or any gas station and purchase Fuel injector cleaner. Follow directions on the bottle

jack up rear of car and place axle stands under rear chassis rails then lower car onto axle stands, place jack under rear axle and jack up to take up slack on rear axle and shock absorbers, undo top two bolts and lower axle down then undo single bolt at axle end. bolt new shocker into place at axle then jack up axle till top two bolt holes are lined up then install bolts at top end. remove jack and repeat on other side.
