the lettuce will begin to wilt do to the salt drying up the lettuce.
Lettuce has a fairly long tap root for a reasonably low growing plant. This is because it requires planty moisture to remain turgid.
i would not prefer to give a rabbit lettuce.i did once and my rabbit died 2 days later.carrots or apples is what i prefer for you.
depends on the size you are buying and the % (ie , skim, 1% , 2% etc) but usually under $5.00
Hey. Yes, Rats can eat garden vegetables. They can eat : Broccoli, Brussel Sprouts (Small Amounts occasionally) Carrots, Cauliflower Leaves and Stalks, Lettuce , Peas, and Tomato. Avoid Kidney Beans, Onions, Potatos, Rhubarb, and the leaves of Tomato. Any veges added to your rats diet should be introduced gradually, as a sudden change can make your rat sick.
You can, but it has NO nutritional value. Best to feed them something else like apples, carrots, oranges, even dandelion leaves and flowers as well as tons of other stuff. Raspberry leaves are particularly nutritious.
Arugula (Eruca sativa), is an edible annual plant, commonly known as salad rocket, roquette, rucola, rugula, or colewort. It is a member of the Brassicaceae family that includes kale, collards, turnip, mustard, Brussels sprouts, bok choy, napa cabbage, rapini, and watercress, among other amazing vegetables. Arugula is native to the Mediterranean region, from Morocco and Portugal in the west to Lebanon and Turkey in the east.
In addition to the leaves, the flowers (often used in salads as an edible garnish), young seed pods, and mature seeds are all edible.
Many people mistake arugula for lettuce, but it is actually an herb. It has a smooth, dark green leaf, similar to that of the dandelion. Its flavor is peppery and mustardy, and it is often used in salads, on sandwiches, or mixed in pasta sauces. It is available year-round in the produce section of most retail grocery stores. Wash your arugula thoroughly upon bringing it home from the store, as it picks up a lot of sand and dirt when it grows.
The problem with giving an answer is: what type of lettuce? what does each leaf weigh? are they shredded? It just impossible without more info. The more space each leaf takes up, the fewer the number of leaves can be put into a cup.
14 bags of lettuce. 4 x 3.5=14
Lettuces have a chemical in them called lactucarium. This causes diarrhea in rabbits. Also, lettuce has low nutritional value. Light-coloured lettuces have more lactucarium than dark-coloured lettuces, which is why light-coloured lettuces should be avoided -- they also have no nutritional value at all.
Dark-coloured lettuces are high in vitamins and minerals that are good for rabbits, and they're relatively low in lactucarium, so dark-coloured lettuces (like green leaf, red leaf, Romaine -- but not the pale inside) are healthy for rabbits in moderate amounts: you can include them in your rabbit's "salad" rotation, but rabbits should NOT be given lettuce in any great amount and should not be given lettuce daily.
Also, you should wash an vegetables you give your rabbit before you give them to it. Don't dry them after because the extra water is good for them.
Other comments:
Remember the story about Peter Rabbit and how when he got home from Mr. MacGregor's garden he was very sick.
A good medium protein rabbit pellet has all the minerals, vitamins and nutrients necessary to raise healthy rabbits.
Mesclun lettuce is known as wild or baby lettuce. It can be a combination of several different types of lettuce or a mix of many different salad greens. It was originally from European nations specifically the Italian and French regions. Today it's gaining popularity all around the world. Grow mesclun lettuce for a delicious addition to any salad.

Well, since bluebelly lizards are insectivores i would say no, but it would not be a bad idea to put it in the lizards cage in case its other food escapes being eaten. it would gutload the insects but any vegetables or fruit should be changed daily
