First you must remove the outer screws (6) around the door panel. Then there is a main screw hidden behind the inner door handle. Just use a small screw (electrician) driver to move plastic panel. You will have to disconnect the following: courtesy light, the master window control switch, (2) door lock latch wires and last but not least the speaker connection.

That is actually a door switch problem instead of an alarm problem. Find the door that is not registering as closed and check out the little switch by the hinges, you might just need to spray it with some WD40.

I have a 99 GS300 and there is a lock on the left side, right above your knee that you can puch in. This will make it so the truck can not be opened, except with a key. You also need the main key to unlock the button, the valet key will not work in this lock. I hope this is helpful.

make sure you have a belt routing label attached to under side of hood.in the center of engine behind the fan there is a belt tentioner pully should be 15mm take a socket and braker bar turn the pully bolt to the right remove&replace belt very easy.

This information can be found on a decal on the driver's or passenger's door jamb. If the decal calls for say P215/65/R16 94H, you must make sure that you get the right size tires with a 94H speed/load rating or better.

It is a faulty knock sensor code. Either a sensor or the wiring has the problem. Most likely the car ran hot and it melted the sensor's plastic housing and it is not working now. Fix is very time consuming. You have to take the plenum out, intake manifold out and then you will have access to the knock sensors in the valley. good luck

If the battery has been "fully charged" it can be several things. If the car is an automatic it the gear lever coulnot be in the P or N position or sensor bad. If the car is manual the clutch may not be depressed completely or again senso may be bad. There are many other things as well. The starter may not have a good connection "pos or neg". The starter may have gone bad.

What was the begining of this problem or did it just not crank when you went to use it ?

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news but to replace the starter you must remove the intake manifold since the starter is underneath the manifold. You had better know what you are doing for this job. I think it costs between $800 and $1500 to get this done. vbd
