not really. i think, actually that dell is better, when buying a computer. Although, apple's computer is a good one, it has a lot of hidden fees and you have to buy a certain everything and it just ends up costing more. For less money, in the end dell is better.

Apple's computers are good ones and they have no hidden fees; such as antivirus software and general maintenance costs associated with cheaper computers. In the end an Apple costs less and retains its value when you come to sell it - compare prices of secondhand Dells and equivalent secondhand Apples.

I kind of forget what which button to push, but it's fairly simple. I would recommend getting specific drives for PC and Mac. You can never be too safe when backing up your information. So far my LaCie works great and is quieter than my Seagate.
