In order to fix or reset a Mazda 3 ABS light when it stays lit, you will need a scanner in order to determine which system is faulty. It can be as simple as a dirty sensor, or more complicated as a computer module. Once you determine the issue, you can then take the proper course of action to solve the problem.

Well it could be one of many possiblities. Typically its in the switch on the steering column. Often enough its as simple as a wire shorting out between the switch and the wiper motor. Sometimes the wiper could be turned on and be stuck on something and basically get over torqued in which case you would need to loosen the bolt and hand turn them back once and probably never see the problem again. But still there are plenty of different reasons why. What would help find a more accurate answer is when it is stuck up how do you get it back down if you keep hitting the switch and then all the sudden it goes down then you probably need a switch. If it never goes back down then it gets more complicated. Try turning them on and tap the wiper motor with a hammer not really hard but don't be too shy with it, if it all the sudden works you may need a motor. If you can get a test light and test the wires for power close to the motor you mat find just one wire that's bad. Its almost trial and error. Good luck.

The owner's manual of my early 2008 Mazda 3 s 2.3 liter says that it holds 4.5 U.S. Quarts of oil.

It means your tire pressure is low. It should be accompanied by an indicator on the dash.

There is about 12 bolts on the underside of the bumber cover that you must take out. Also, 4 up top and 1 or 2 in each finder well. Have fun....

To change the brakes on a Mazda 3 shouldn't be rocket science. However it took me a lil while to figure it out. It's almost the same as changing regular caliper brakes except instead of using a C-clamp or similar object to compress the piston...use a pair of needlenose pliers and turn the tip of the piston in a clockwise rotation to compress it. A clamp will not work. aside from that everything should be pretty simple.

There are two separate fuse boxes on the 2006 Mazda 3 (2.3 manual); I can not say whether this information would be correct for other years of this particular model. (A) The first of these can be found in the engine compartment on the drivers side approximately 15cm behind the headlight assembly. No tools necessary. Simply push the plastic clasp at the back of the box and lift. Mazda includes a set of fuse pliers, which have been conveniently attached to the underside of the engine compartment fuse box cover. (B) The second is located in the passenger side foot well, more specifically on the underside of the glove box. This area is a tight space with little light, a flashlight may be necessary to locate the two plastic clasps that must be pushed forward to remove the plastic shroud that conceals where the fuse box is located. Once removed, you are looking at the bottom of the fuse box. There are two finger screws that must be turned counter-clockwise to release the fuse box. Once loosened the fuse box should hang loosely revealing the fuse heads. Whenever changing fuses: 1. Be sure the ignition to the car is turned to the off position and the keys have been removed 2. Before replacing the fuse, be sure you have identified the cause of the blown fuse, failure to do so can result in serious injury or further damage to the vehicle.

The Mazda 3 oil filter is on the right side of the engine between the right front wheel and the engine. It is best to remove the plastic underpan bolts, to change it. You do not have to remove the center bolt to drain it first. Remove the housing, lefty loosy, with a plier type wrench or one that fits the bottom serrations and then replace the cartridge insert and the o ring gasket.

The timing chain has no set date or mileage for replacment. It will normally last the life of the engine.

No hex bolt to drain the oil man. Drop the skid plate. And the oil pan is right there. Its right behind the oil filter. There is a shield on the bottom of the vehicle. There are a few 10mm bolts holding it on. You will see a round plastic housing with a 7mm hex bolt in the center. Remove the hex to drain the oil out of the housing, and I believe it is a 74mm oil filter socket to remove the housing. Make sure and get the oil filter kit, which includes a new o-ring. good luck Look on the bottom of the oil pan. There is a black plastic cover with hex-sides like a bolt. This screws out and there is a cartridge style oil filter in there. depening on the model 2.3L does have the oil filter in front of the oil pan, but 2.0L use different type of oil filter. Therefore, there is no hex bolt on 2.0L

Of course! By far the greatest car I've ever purchased. My complaints (2005 3s) are limited but include: wheels spin easy, bad torque steer, causes my wife to get speeding tickets, and limited options when I bought it in 05.
