On the 95-98. Open the trunk. The screws (2) are just inside the trunk. After you remove them, very carefully push outward in the lens. The lens has a pin on the outer side that sticks into the car body. This pin can stick, so be very careful not to break something.

On my 2002 Protege ES, the process is a bit different

There are two plastic retainer do-hickeys on the hard that are made up of an inner circle and outer ring. Both of these are easily visible.

They are removed by first loosening the inner circle (probably moves back about 1cm), and then the whole do-hickey can be removed by gently prying the outer rings.

The hard vinyl still feels attached, so you can move it/lift it by hand until it moves over the rear release latch. This gives you enough room to operate.

The hard cloth (who's edge is covered by the vinyl) has two of those plastic retainer do-hickeys. Remove them too. Then you can access the back of the assembly/sheet metal.

Then there are three brass-ish long screws with 10mm nuts. Remove those three nuts, and you can pull out the tail light assembly.

Either (a) the parking brake is stuck in the on position, (b) there is an electrical problem, or (c) -the most likely- the fluid level is low in the master cylinder reservoir, probably because of a leak

The water pump is under the timing belt cover. To access the water pump, you must first remove both belts, the water pump pully, and the timing belt cover.

There are two main types of no-starting conditions. Cranks but won't start, and no cranks no start. For a no crank no start condition it is best to suspect a problem with the starter circuit. For a cranks but won't start you have to remember that an engine requires the things to run gas, air, and spark. So what type of condition do you have?

There probably is not one, because block heaters are not installed by the manufacturer.

Well that make sense that the gear indications on the dash are all screwed up. The P0705 is telling you that the TR or Transaxle Range switch circuit has a malfunction of a short circuit. This switch is on the transmission where your gear selector cable would attach to the transmission. It sends a voltage signal along a different wire for each gear to both the instrument cluster and the PCM. PCM cannot understand why the trans is showing to be in two gears at one time and turns on the CEL[:'(]. Good 99% probability that replacement of the TR switch should cure your ails. OE part # is FB02-21-444A. That's a zero in the part number. Dealer MSRP is $46.70 so should not be too spendy. Can get for a little less at www.onlinemazdaparts.com .There is another member who has the same situation going on at the link below by the way. Even has a pic of the instrument cluster.

It is built into the fuel pump. If you have the know-how and the tools, you can do it yourself. If you've never performed this type of task... take it to a shop.

DOT-4 is recommended

Very Carefully! If you don't get the springs exactly how they should be, your car will not run. It is best to take it to a pro if you need any work done on the valves of ANY car, even if it's just an adjustment!

On the back of the caliper there should be a bolt its a 14mm you take it out and inside there is a bolt also its Allen key you use and Allen key and retract the caliper. it works on all 626 from 1994 till 2002

There is a small opening under the base of the mirror. Stick the end of a coat hanger in there while wiggling the base pushing upwards towards the roof. It should loosen up and come off.

I believe if you check the Crutchfield web site you'll find fronts are 6x8, rear deck 6x9, and rear are not a standard size but are closest to 5-1/4. I'm not sure if all models have 6 speakers. My LX does.

35 psi no more than 45 oh and to keep the ride relatively comfortable i would recommend 30psi...

The 2001 Mazda Prot?g? air conditioning fuse can be found in the fuse box. The air conditioning fuse will be in the first column, third from the bottom.

First both the vehicle and engine will need to be lifted and supported. The engine oil pans will need to unbolted, with care not to strip the heads or block. Once the pan is off, the engine block should be cleaned of any residual gasket material. The oil pan should be run through a parts a cleaner. Reinstallation will require a new gasket and possibly sealer. Bolts should not be over torqued during install. The vehicle can then be filled with fresh oil and a new oil filter. Start the vehicle to check for leaks.

I am the person who originally asked this question yesterday. After looking through the web for insight I narrowed it down to were it would be myself. So I can answer my own question now. It's the 2 wired plug thing coming out of the upper right side of the airbox. NOT the 3 wired rectangle on the intake tube between the air box and throttle body.

To remove the tail light assembly on a 1997 Mazda Protege remove the two screws that are usually covered by the trunk. After that use some force and push on the inner part of the tail light toward the side of the car. There is a clip in the side of the car that requires some force to undo. Make sure you push in the outward direction to either the driver side on the driver side tail light or the passenger side for the passenger side tail light. After that is removed the tail light should be hanging by wires ready for bulb changes. To change the bulbs just twisth the plastic part.

THIS WORKS FOR THE OLDER DODGE TRUCKS 72-80 SO LOK AND SEE IF THIS WILL WORK. STEP 1 REMOVE WIPER BLADES NOTING THEIR POSITIONS STEP 2 OPEN HOOD AND SEE IF COWL SHEETMETAL IS HELD IN PLACE WITH SCREWS, IF SO R/R COWL THE LINKAGE WILL BE IN PLAIN SIGHT. SNAP BUSHINGS ON AND REINSTALL.

From what i understand its built in to the fuel tank and pump, should be replaced around 100k miles
