It is not pressurized. A breather valve at the fuel tank allows fuel vapor to flow out of the tank and be stored in a charcoal canister until it is drawn into the intake of the engine. It also allows fresh air into the tank to prevent a vacuum. The fuel cap is not vented, all air moves through the breather valve. Technically it may, at times, be pressurized or have a vacuum. However, a properly functioning vapor system should limit that to a max of .725psi, or a vacuum of .45in. Hg.

The Blower motor for the E320 is located on the upper front left side of the engine directly above the water pump.

The blower motor is NOT in the engine compartment! The "blower motor" above the water pump is the EGR/Smog pump, part of the emissions system. The actual blower motor for the HVAC system is under the dash, above your feet on the passenger side of the car, just remove the panel and look up. The filters are located behind the glove box (which has to be removed to access the filters). They clog and don't allow the air to blow and eventually will burn out the regulator on the blower motor itself. There are also 2 separate charcoal filters next to the blower motor under the dash that filter smog from the cabin, these are not as crucial to replace, but should be done at some point. (total of 4 filters 96-02 Eclass).

mass air sensor are always located on the tube off the air cleaner with a electrical plug in harness controls the air fuel mixture.

It will have to reset automatically. You would first need to obtain the code for the restart process. Im guessing you dont have it. Call--1800-mercedes

Depends if you use a dealer or a non-dealer mechanic. The labor is usually about an hour, perhaps 1.5 hours and the sensor with their markup will be around $100. Most places charge you for diagnostics, usually $100, So, I'd say between $250 - $350.

The "C" pillar is the piece of metal conecting the roof to the rear quarter panel. There are 2 located on each vehicle and form the sides to the rear window.

A D service on a 2004 is just pretty much either a A or B service. Mercedes decided to add all these extra services on the new 2003 e-class, all it really did was cause confunsion. There are differant services for just the a/c filter, and lubing the sunroof. So just stick to A and B services and everything will get performed normally.

1. Insert key into ignition, switch to position "1".

2. Press buttons or repeatedly until the mileage is displayed within the Multifunction display.

3. Press reset button 3 times in short succession. The battery voltage will be displayed and an audible signal will sound.

4. Turn key in ignition to position "2"

5. Press the up / down buttons until the service menu appears.

6. Press reset button once. The Oil Type menu is displayed.

7. Use the +/- buttons to select the oil used for the service.

8. Press the up / down buttons to confirm. The display will show: "Reset Oil Confirmation. Push R-Button for 3 seconds".

9. Press and hold the cluster illumination button (1) for 3 seconds. The message "Service confirmed" is displayed.

check owners manual - should state MB 229.1 specs for oil.

European Formula Mobil 1 synthetic 0w-40 has this spec labeled on bottle.

At European auto supply houses - Titan, Fuchs, Total also has specs on bottle.
