im having the same problem im gonna try the crank position sensor today because ive already tried the camshaft position sensor but you should try them both good luck you might need it

If the car is the same as in it came out of a non-turbo and your putting it in a non-turbo it will work but if it came out of a non-turbo and your putting it in a turbo then it won't work. If it came out of a turbo and your putting it in a non-turbo it won't work. If it came out of a turbo and your putting in a turbo then it will work.

It's part of the heater core assembly so it's behind your glove box

I've been having this problem as well with my 2002 Eclipse GT. I took it to the shop and supposedly the line that drains off condensation was blocked and leaking the water elsewhere in the cabin, which in my case made a miniature lake behind the driver's seat that was treating the electronics underneath nicely, I'm sure.

The problem was solved for a while, being about less than three weeks, but then started flooding again. T_T

I'll have to have someone take another look at it, if I don't come up with any answers soon. But I would definitely check to make sure none of those tubes have corroded or been blocked.

I'm not too knowledgeable on the make of air conditioners, much less even my poor ol' Mitsubishi, so any other further information would be delightful. Driving in the Florida hot sun with an all leather interior isn't too pleasant without working A/C!

The 2000 Eclipse GS does not come equipped with this feature. I own a 2000 Eclipse GS and i had my car involved in an accident. It wouldn't start and i thought about this switch but wasn't sure so i called Mitsubishi Motors and they assured me that it isn't equipped. Turns out my Eclipse had an electrical short circuit in the accident and that's why it wouldn't start. Hope i helped.

circulating fan is probably not working when car is moving it works with outside airflow, check for blown fuse

first remove the connector, it's really on there, I used a pry tool. then remove the dust cover (rubber surround on the back of the headlight assembly). this will expose a clip assembly, push in, push to the side and release. thebulb can be removed after that. The slit for the new bulb is very narrow. I had to remove the bumper to get it right. It's not that bad to do. aprox 5 clips along the bottom and 2 pressure fit grommets and two #2 Philips clips (lefty loosy, right tighty DO NOT STRIP or you'll have to drill). theres 4 more of the Philips clips in the wheel well and a 10mm bolt on each side. 6 clips along the top (total of 4 key clips at the bottom of the radiator covers. lift up and pull) this will expose 2 more 10 mm bolts. And that's it. Pull down at the corners (ie wheel wells) to release clips on each side and then pull the bumper assembly forward and you're done. With one guy shouldn't be longer than 20min(first time, ballpark 45 min)

I think 5w30 if you don't have too high mileage. If you do have high mileage on your car then it's not a bad idea to use oil with higher viscosity, for instance 10w30.

im about to do a swap on my 02 eclipse gt.. depending on the condition that you want your transmission about 2 grand for the parts and if ur not doing it yourself expect to pay some crazy labor bills cause it a pain in the ass.... u need an ecu (computer) out of an 00' - 04' eclipse gt 3.0 and the clutch assembly shifter assembly slave cylinder all that good stuff.

Remove the wiring harness from the back of your 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse alternator. Loosen the alternator tensioner bolt. Remove the alternator belt. Remove the alternator retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new alternator.
