On either side of the center console, there is a panel that is almost triangular in shape. Each one will have 1 or 2 grey caps(depending on interior color).They just pop off, once their off you will need a Philips head screwdriver to remove the screws. Once the panels are off you will see 2 brass screws on the drivers side about 6 inches apart and one on the passengers side. you will need a 10mm socket to remove them. When their out, the ECM will only come out the passengers side. You will need to turn the top of it slightly to the right to disconnect the 3 connections on the bottom. After that it should come right out.

Turn the key to the run position and then put it on neutral.

In the worst possible place you can imagine. If you look behind the engine, between the motor and the firewall on the passenger side, you will see the bank 1 sensor 1. follow that exhaust pipe down. Get underneath the car and look up towards sensor 1 on that same exhaust pipe and you will see sensor 2.

There isn't a block heater, unless the previous owner installed one.

I would recommend not spending any money trying to fix them and just buying some glow gauges off of ebay.com which cost about 30 dollars and then u have light again on ur gauge cluster as well as cool looking gauges... also very easy to install yourself!!

I just did this today! Firstly, it's easier if you unbolt the door at the top and bottom front hinges so that it can swing out (make sure you rest it on a milk crate or something to support the back hinge). Next you need to remove the inside handle which will slide off once you remove the locking pin holding it in place. Then pop off the inside door panel and slide it up over the lock. Peel away the plastic sheet (this can be messy if it's a warm day like today). Then you have to unbolt the three bolts holding in the entire latch/lock assembly, and unclip the plastic clip holding the lock, which will give you access to the nut holding the rear handle in place. The front nut is accessible from the front edge of the door. Undo the plastic clip holding the metal arm of the handle in place, and pull out the old handle piece.

look just beyond the thermostat. put your hand on the thermostat standing in front of the car, then extend your fingers. your fingernails should be touching it.

Well the obvious comes to mind, replace it. Hit the junk yard to find one, the dealer is rediculously overpriced! There is no right way to repair a cracked manifold. Answer You can try a cheap fix....it doesn't always work but there is a product called JB Weld. It comes in 2 tubes, you mix together and it becomes hard. Now if it is a crack, I would take a small grinder and just lean up the area around the crack and then try the JB WELD. I have used it and it worked and I have used it and it hasn't worked. It's a couple of bucks you can throw at the problem. The above suggestions are fine but I always try a cheap way first. You never know. If the crack is too large, you may just want to go with the first answer. Good luck.

You have to remove the door panel. After you will see the speaker which sits in 4 screws. Remove the screws disconnect the speaker and in the reverse order for your new speaker. Keep in mind, whatever new speakers you get, the stock amp on this vehicle has a low pass filter to the door speakers (and a high pass filter to the dash) so they won't deliver any highs.

There is a small blue piece of plastic attached to your brake pedal. It engages the brake light switch when you let off the brakes. Mine just broke into a bunch of pieces today. I went to Advance to get a replcement and they don't carry it, neither does anyone else. He recommended I glue 2 pennies together and glue them to the brake petal where I removed the rest of the plastic piece. Problem solved.

i wouldn't advise putting anything more then 18psi or say 280hp through a cheap manifold

P0300 Diagnostic Code - Random Misfire

Symptoms.
Engine may stumble or miss
Engine may be hard to start
you may notice no issues

Cause
Failing spark plugs or spark plug wires
Bad coil or coil pack
Failing oxygen sensor(s)
Bad fuel injector or more than one
Stuck exhaust valve
Bad catalytic converter
EGR valve or valve passage clogging
Bad camshaft position sensor
Bad PCM or ECM

The Fix
Best first action is a tune up, new plugs, wires, inspect all hoses and wire connections then reset the code. If it returns you will need to narrow it down to a system, coils and coil packs should be tested, catalytic converters for function ( do you smell rotten eggs?). A misfire that jumps cylinders could indicate a lean condition, do you have any other codes along with the 300? this will help clue you in to the source, check valve function to make sure they are opening and closing fully.
This is probably pone of the most difficult codes to troubleshoot, so start with the basics and work your way into the more expensive options, in many cases a good old tune up solves the problem, back it up with a fuel system cleaning and see where you stand.

There are two or three 10mm bolts that hold it on. You need to remove the door panel by removing four phillips screws on the outer sides of the door (2 front, 2 back) and a fifth inside the handle pull then just unclip it and unplug the wire harnesses (if power). Have the window all the way up or make it easier, remove glass by rolling it down partially until you see the two 10mm bolts that hold the glass on and simply pull glass out upward. Look inside and unclip retianer for the cylinder and unclip the rod. Now you have access to all bolts. Undo them and gently pull handle outward slightly rolling it to get the other rod through. I found it easier to unclip that one from the outside once the handle is loose.

Fuel line is located underneath of the car. In order to track it you need to follow it from the engine to the gas tank or in reverse direction.

There two simple ways: to use your remote, or pay mitsubishi dealer to do the work. Also there is equipment available which cam simulate basically any remote, but it's rather very expensive and very hard to come by.

your dash cable might be loose....so the cover where the gagues are...grap the plastic black peice and pull it off softly..not to hard you can break the plastic easily.then its gonna be connected to a cable into a knob ,which is your light for the inside dash...disconnect it and reconnect it.if not maybe one of your chips are broken.

Usually unleaded mate.

Although you can put anything in the gas tank that unleaded, I know to get the best out of the car I always Put 93 which is premium. When I use this it always makes my Diamante run so much better.
