Supplimentary Restraint System or airbag. If the light is staying on it could be the wiring to the pre-tensioners at the base of the seatbelts becoming damaged or disconnected; it gets kicked around under the carpets. Failing that take it to a garage to get the fault codes read and the system repaired.

You can turbocharge any engine just as long as the internals can handle it, the higher the boost, the stronger the engine needed to be. I'm not sure up to what psi can the stock internals handle (better leave this to the 4g92 pros). If you have an old engine, you may consider switching to a 4g63T from the evos.

As far as I know, you will not find it in any autoparts stores. The only place available is at the dealership. So it really doesn't matter what type since there's only one place to get it. it has to do with the seals. Any other fluid will damage them. Don't you love dealerships.

on the throttle body, side closest to fire wall, below where the throttle cable connects to the body, is a screw it has a 8mm jam nut on it loosen the nut, run the screw in to your preferred idle, tighten nut and done

On the 1.8 engine, there are two:

one located on the exhaust manifold - it has a wire/connector coming from it.

one located just behind the catalytic converter beneath the car

there are two clips along with bottom part of the back seat....pull it out and release it.

and then you will find there are two screw on both sides next to the seat belt clip.

unscrew them and push the seat up.....job done!!

Perhaps clutch throw-out bearing?

There are certain steps to make this draining process as easy as possible depending on how much time you have and how well you want to empty, drain or flush the transmission fluid.

easy way: every 60,000 miles you can change the transmission fluid by using a pippet or thin hose long enough with a baby nose suction bulb. make sure you cut the tip of the suction bulb to desired width of pippet or thin hose. This suction process will take you about thirty minutes and is not as messy.

long way: This is a little more detailed since you have to actually remove the pan and the transmission oil filter depending on how many screws the pan has, this process will take two hours. Also have an old paint brush handy and a new pan (gasket) seal in order to thoroughly clean the inside of the pan and brush off any heavy oil grease in the transmission and oil pan. This will allow better care and flow of the transmission fluid.

I have been researching this all night, trying to find the rpm wire(green wire on tach). I have a 1998 mirage de coupe with the 1.5 and I found out that on the distributor, there is a clip towards the front of the car that has 7 wires. It should be (from left to right): black, white, white, black, for the first four.. The rpm wire is the 2nd wire(first white) from the left. Then just run the power, ground, and the lighting wire and youre set! Hope this helps.

There are two sprockets one in the head attached to the camshaft and the other one is in the block attached to the crank. There will be a dimple or mark on each of these sprockets. They should be facing each other. The bottom side facing up and the top sprocket with the timing mark facing down. Install your belt on the sprockets like so release your tensioner and your in business. Make sure your number one pistion is set at top dead center on the compression stroke in order to set your timing correctly.

because your engine at idol revs doesnt produce enough torque to move your vehicle. when you release your clutch (i assume you are meaning in gear) you are trying to make the car move. if you let your clutch out totally, your car would generally stall, although some cars can handle the torque requirements at low revs.

the rpm (revs) goes down, & the car shakes, because the engine is struggling with this problem, & the engine is atached to the car, so it makes the whole car shake.

Open the hood, and look for the engine oil dipstick. Then look for another dipstick somewhere in the engine compartment. It will probably be to the right of the engine dipstick, and might be on the back side of the engine/transmission assembly. With the transmission in 'park' or 'neutral' and the engine running, check the fluid level. If the fluid is low, it is added through the dipstick tube, which requires a special, long neck funnel. Be very careful not to overfill the transmission.

In mirage it is usually located under the rear seat just take the bottom part or the rear seat off
