Well a while ago on YoVille, you could just click an icon of a lock at the bottom of the screen. But now, if you are hosting an event, your house gets crowded. People ask you to lock. You click your event at the top of the screen, click "End event" then click "Home" then click the lock icon at the bottom far right of the box. If you don't have an event, just do the last part of what I just said. I hope this helps you a little bit!! :)

To lock your house or apartment in YoVille - click on the name of your home in the upper right-hand corner of your screen when you are at that particular home or apartment. You will be able to name it, make it your default home, and lock or unlock it.

The game version I had must of had a bug in it or something. In many card games there is an ante. To play, you have to put in some money. In Texas Hold 'Em, instead of antes you have blinds... big blind and small blind. Two players contribute money to the pot without the beniefit of seeing their cards and deciding whether to bet on them... thus they are throwing money in "blind"ly. :) Players take turns putting in this money, one the big blind amount, and one the small blind amount (half as much). Other players can choose to play by matching the big blind, or fold and pay nothing. The small blind has to pay the difference between what they paid, and what the big blind paid to play (this of course if there are no initial raises). Blinds are pre-determined in many tournaments, and they go up after a certain number of rounds, so for instance if the blinds started out at $200 and $400, then they might go up to $300 and $600, and so on until someone wins the entire tournament
