Step 3a) If using a boiling water bath you want the water level 1 - 2 inches BELOW the tops of the jars. Process for 30 minutes if you are at sea-level, 35 minutes below 3,000 feet, 40 minutes below 6,000 feet and 45 minutes above 6,000 feet.
Step 3b) If using a pressure canner, process at 6 pounds for 10 minutes if you are at sea-level, add 1 pound pressure for each 2,000 feet above sea-level.
Step 4) Remove jars and allow to cool naturally. Store in a cool, dry, dark, place.

- My batch I thought was brown enough and thin enough...turned out I was wrong although it did harden it was just too sticky. I took each broken peice put it on parchement and cooked on high in microwave for 40 seconds. Turned colour and came out perfect. I also dusted it with the tiniest bit of baking soda before cooking again.
- You can't save a batch that didn't harden. It needs to be cooked long enough to change color. Light to medium brown. The recipe I use calls for a mixture of soda and margarine to be mixed in at the last before spreading the mixture to harden.
