How do you change the front wheel bearing on an 2001 oldsmobile Aurora?
First jack up the car so the tire is off the ground. remove the wheel. get a wire or rope. take out the 2 bolts that attach the brake to the hub. wire up the brake and rotor( or maybe set aside the rotor) so they're out of the way. Remove axle nut (takes a big socket) and the 3 bolts that hold the wheel bearing into the hub. push the axle back and pull the wheel bearing and sensor wire out (takes some manipulation). Reverse order to reassemble I don't have the torque specs. This is an outline but it's what I did. I didn't use a torque wrench, just made the nuts and bolts tight as I thought I could without stripping anything. The hub bolts are hard to get in and out without messing up the bolt heads. good luck

I have the same problem with my 97, the passenger door won't open. this worked once to get it open, but its stuck closed again, so if you get it open, try lubing up the lock mechanism while you can still get at it.
