You need to find out what cylinder(s) it is missing on. ((Take it to an Advanced Auto or AutoZone, and ask to use their Handheld OBDII Scanner..it should be free))
The car has been known to go through coils. If you have changed/checked the plugs and wires, check the coils, which, upon looking at the engine head on, should be on top, to the left, and are visible without having to remove the grey protectant cover. They are black, squarish looking knobs, and have numbers printed on them (usually 1-6), and obviously the spark plug wires will be leading from them.

I'm pretty sure that it does not use shocks, but instead it uses struts. Struts are usually enclosed in the coil spring tower and can be a tough job unless you have speciality tools such as a Spring Compressor. I would seriously consider paying Sears, Firestone, or some similar store to do the job. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First the main thing to remember is not to jack the vehicle up or take the front tires off. The weight of the vehicle in this design actually supports the coil spring up in the coil tower inside fender well. You will need to rent a special tool to remove the gland nut underneath the covers inside the hood compartment. If this is a do it yourself project, I highly recommend getting a repair manual available at Pep Boys, Auto Zone, etc., these places usually rent that special tool. The job is fairly easy with basic hand tools, just be careful, usually the parts salesmen will give you advice and encouragement.

It pops out of the dash by prying it out of the dash. Just use a flathead crewdriver and pry at the edges of the unit. All connectors are snap off, just look for the locks and unlock the security tabs to pull off connectors.

It means you have a mis-fire on multiple cylinders. If it was only one cylinder it would have a number other than 0 like for example: P0301, that means cylinder 1 is mis-firing, but yours has a zero which means more than one cylinder is mis-firing. If I were you I would basically just check (with a volt meter) the Ignition Control module (the plate the coils sit on and connected to) and see if those pins are bad, if one pin is bad you have no choice but to replace the module (warning: EXPENSIVE!!) But, if all is good reconnect the coils to the module and check if each coil is good or bad, if bad (even if it was one) replace all, cause you never know if the other coils will go out on you. If the module and coils are good just replace both spark plugs and the wires. Doing that would save you $$ if it turns out that you just have to replace the Spark plugs and wires with out worry.
If when it dies, the power windows do not work but all other electrical systems work, take a hard look at the ground under the driver's floor mat. The fuel pump shares this ground with the power windows. This is a fairly common problem on this vehicle. Hope this helps.
