Did Jesus have fear of death?

When Jesus was about to get arreseted, he was scared. But not because he knew there was humiliation, pain, brutal beatings, and death. Those things were absolutely NOTHING for him! Well, that doesn't mean he didn't feel any pain because he was a *GOD*. NO. He felt all the pain, humiliation, embarrassment, everything. He was 100% human and 100% God at the same time.

But what he DID fear was;staying apart from God.

This is a bit tricky, but the Holy Spirit, the Father and the Son had NEVER been apart. From beginning to eternity, they were ALWAYS one. They were together.

But sacrificing his life for these filthy humans, who don't even recognise their maker, sacrificing his pain of staying apart from God. That was what he feared.

When God looked away from his cross as it was just TOO much to bear, it was the worst MOMENT for Jesus. Not the beatings, or hearing inaults, or embarassment of being stripped naked, nor the pain of having his hands pinned into the wood, it was staying apart from GOD that he had feared the most.

God couldn't stay with sin. He was too Holy. So in hell? God has no link with it AT ALL. When Jesus had to go to hell for 3 days, he could bear all that pain, but the pain of staying away from God...

But hooray, he could bear it till the end, and we are all saved! His sacrifice was totally worth it! God bless you! :)

Why do you fear trees which are tall and dark?

This is an excellent example of an image from what Carl Jung called the Universal Unconscious. It is likely that all human beings share a common fear of tall, dark trees. It is an image that hearkens back to the most remote human ancestors who had good reason to fear predators lurking in tall dark trees. Those who did not fear such situations became prey, while those who feared and avoided those dark trees survived to pass on their genes ... and their fears ... to modern humanity.

Why did people fear the ratification of the constitution?

The Anti-Federalists opposed the new U.S. Constitution for numerous reasons. They distrusted large, powerful national governments and believed liberty could only be protected in small republics in which the rulers were closely checked by the public. They believed a large nation could best be governed by a confederation, with local governments having the most control. A strong national government would be distant from the people and not capable of protecting the rights of the citizens. Congress would tax too heavily and the Supreme Court would overrule state courts. They distrusted the president having too much power, including a standing army under his control. They also favored the addition of a Bill of Rights to protect the citizens from the national government. They wanted the House of Representatives increased in size so it would reflect a greater variety of popular interests. The wanted a council created to check the actions of the president. They also favored leaving military affairs in the hands of the state militias.

They don't speak funny, they just have a different tone in their voice. Not all gay people speak like that, but the ones who I know speak differently is because most gay men are around women most of the time, and women are most of their friends, so their voice naturally rises.

Why are gay people so fashionable?

A lot of gay people act this way because they are simply conforming with a stereotype that they have been brought up to belief. It is like saying rich people drive limousines. Since you've been drilled with this piece of fact, you want to buy a limousine when you become rich.

This is just an example of how society's stereotyping can cause an effect on the groups behaviour.

What do people fear most in life?

A very simple, almost naive, answer will be "FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN". This fear manifests itself in different forms under different situations. Although, collectively we have progressed a great deal to minimise these fears over the past hundred or so years, through our inventions, but the human brain hasn't been able to keep up with this progress. As a result, although we can see the absurdity of our fears but we still can't convince our mind to allay these fears.

At the very least, do not accept bullying behavior from or by this person. Now that you recognize this failing, you can choose to help this person, even if change does not come as quickly as you'd like. None of us is perfect, but we can act well.

Why do young children sometimes fear Santa Claus?

Well, for one thing, he's supposed to always be watching and judging you. That's pretty creepy, in and of itself. But he's also a guy who sneaks into your house at night when you're asleep. Being intruded upon in the middle of the night, especially for a kid, is a very scary prospect.

When I was a kid (and even today), I always found it very, very scary when, in the Nutcracker, Marie gets out of bed at night and is wandering around the house, when she suddenly notices her Uncle or great-uncle or whoever -- the one who gave her the Nutcracker -- perched upon the grandfather clock, just sitting there looking down at her. There's something about the idea of a mysterious stranger creeping around your house at night that's really terrifying, even if the stranger isn't supposed to be dangerous or scary.
YEAH!

How do you stop your fear of looking into someone's eyes?

Answer

Well, I used to have trouble looking into people's eyes too, but I'm still improving it by forcing myself to do it. You can try to look yourself in the eyes in the mirror and try other people later. Hope this helps!

Just think of it as an etiquette lesson, as it is rude not to give someone your eyes when speaking or being spoken to. If you wear glasses, take them off so you can't see the other person very well . This is how I conquered my first public-speaking class .

Who said you have nothing to fear but fear itself?

"[...] only thing we have to fear is fear itself - nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance."

people arent afraid to die . they are afraid of what will happen after they die

Some people are afraid to die because they have been conditioned with the perception that a dreadful place called HELL may be their final destination. Some are afraid to die because of all the things they will have to leave behind. Some are afraid to die because death appears to be so empty and lonely. Some are afraid that their faith may all be about a fairytale and that the end may be totally different.

Why did God put the fear of men into animals?

He didn't. Evolution did. A dangerous animal is only dangerous to its prey - and all animals have prey of some type, so in effect, all animals are dangerous. An animal that has no prey (e.g. Food) soon dies out. A rabbit is a pretty scary beast to a carrot. We're all in the chain, my friend. Man is perhaps the most dangerous animal of all since he's figured out so many ways to destroy other living things.
