On a 4 cylinder remove the following: water pump pully; 3 bolts, use a vise grip to hold the pully. Alternator belt tensione alt. belt. % bolts holding pullies to crank shaft; remove pully assembly. remove upper plastic cover; bolt on rear side of engine holding 2 covers together, a nut on eac side of valve cover; lift cover. Lower cover; one bolt to water pump, pull out cover. There may be more bolts holding the covers; what ever you find remove. on lft side of front of engine is a belt teneioner; it has eccentric action; loosen off-center bolt; hand tighten with largs wrench turn large "nut" till blettightens and you have 5/16" movement on center og belt span in rear of engine; wrench tightnen small off-center bolt while not allowing larger "bolt" to rotate causing your belt to become slack again. Yeah a real sadist designed this motor.

trans is slipping

One of your bulbs are bad and is making a consistend closed circuit. The glass part of the light bulb may be loose and shorting the fuse. These glass bulbs are held in place with very little adhesive and the solder. F. Garay

approx. 4.5 litres give or take.Start with 4 litres then check. If still low but reading on stick add half litre till full.

you have to remove the dash

Mass air flow sensor may be bad. Idle may be low caused by leaking or broken vacuum lines or dirty clogged throttle body and air filter. Idle air control valve may be sticking. I would try to first try to put engine in drive after you have removed the air cleaner box and filter. F. Garay

starter on 2.5 4cyl is located on back side of motor by drivers compartment easyest to get to from under car.

If you have a 6 cylinder 3.0L the timing marks are located on the crankshaft gear for the timing belt (its just a notch on the rear of the gear just spin it clockwise until you find it) that lines up with a notch that sicks out from the block just above it. The camshaft marks are little arrows on the camshaft gears which line up with little marks on the cover plates that close the back of the gears in (about 1 o'clock)

On my 1990 it is the middle relay on the left fender between the battery and the shock tower.

where can you find the fuel pump relay on a 94 plymouth acclaim?

First you have to jack the car up after loosening your lug nuts and then you remove the wheel. After you do this, you have to pull the brake drum off. Next, dis assemble the brakes then disconnect the brake line from the wheel cylinder. Then you remove the two bolts holding the wheel cylinder on and put the new one in. Re install the bolts, and brake line, put the brakes back on, put the drum back on and bleed the brakes. Put your wheel back on and drive away.

Could be clogged injectors. Run a pint of Sea Foam in the gasoline. No guaranty's but it has worked for me.

Check the fuel pump relay. It's on the passenger side fender between the battery and strutt tower. Have someone turn the ignition to the run position (don't start the engine) while you listen, the fuel pump relay will click when it turns on. Run the vehicle until the pump stops working and check for the click again. If it doesn't click replace the relay.

Ive had to replace both. You have to remove the entire dash. They will be in the middle of whats left. There should be a hole with a big box opening that opens and closes...thats it. It takes about...3 or 4 hours to get it all off right...

Remove fuel tank. Use a brass punch to drive fuel pump lock ring counterclockwise. Remove pump and O-ring. Check inlet sock filter for damage or contamination, replace if required. Clean sealing area of tank and use a new O-ring when installing.

There are two horns behind front bumper on each side in between turn signal lights.

It is located on the backside of the engine/transmssion assembly against the firewall. It is screwed into the diff houing and is easier to get to from beneath the car.

Next to the incoming air hose to the the air cleaner... air cleaner inlet... on the drivers side fender.

The way i did it was accidentally putting it in neutral at a gas station and let it roll backwards with the door open.

Ripped it right off...

It only had body damage to the passenger door and part of the back door but then someone tried to open the door and it bent the front fender. That was the reason for the damaged title but it only had 29,000 miles on it when I bought it and now it's almost to 36,000 original miles. Follow the upper radiator hose to its end. The thermostat is located right about there.

Remove the tire and rim. Loosen the callipers and lift up out of the way. Unbolt the rotor and pull it off. The rotor may be siezed on the hub. If that is the case you will have to hit it with a hammer between the studs until it comes loose.

Open the hood. Look at the engine, and find the large black tube going to the Fuel Injector throttle body. Work your way back from that and you will find the filter inside a housing.

I found it mounted above the fuse module. It's almost impossible to see without removing the module and surrounding panel. Located on a bracket under the driver's side A/C duct.
