Can you turn a fiero into a Hardtop convertible?

You might have to hit refresh a few times but it does appear in the middle picture as they cycle through. It could be done just like any other convertible conversion on a Fiero.
The underside of the body would have to be braced first, as if the frame is cut in any manner without the bracing and the drivetrain is still in the body the chassis will flex. As the rear clip is easily removable, it would just be a matter of combining the upper portion of the fiberglass roof, the rear window, and the upper portion of the rear clip into a latchable unit that could be removed from the inside. Latches could be obtained from any common convertible in a salvage yard (Sebring, LeBaron, etc.)
Any way it goes it would require significant work.

If it only started this after taking the baffles out try putting baffles back in. if you change the exhaust flow you must also change the intake to match.
If the problem is electrical , I believe your pickup sensor " behind cover that used to have points" , is going bad .You ,can check this by starting the bike and point hair dryer at point cover. If your engine pops and goes dead within 3 or 4 minutes with hair dryer on high you will need to change the sensor.

Can you use a fiero gt speedometer in a fiero se?
It depends on what Fiero SE you own. There are two types. The earlier SE models, '84-'86, used a 85 mph speedometer for the four cylinder engine. It would not be until the '87 V6 model that the SE cars received the 120 mph "GT", as it's called, speedometer assembly.
If you already have a 120 mph speedometer in your Fiero SE, it will work just fine. If it's the 85 mph speedometer, it will not, and would read incorrectly until you perform the necessary modifications to make it act like a 120 mph speedometer should.
How much horsepower does a Fiero SE have?
It depends what engine it is a V-6 has 130HP until 1987 they had 140HP, the l-4 had 110HP
i 4 had 92-98 hp depending on year v6 had 140 hp all years i believe in 1987 they lowered the rpm's so it looked like it had less so that it would fit in a cheaper car insurance bracket
