Remove the 2006 Pontiac Montana wheel and tire. Remove the brake pad Springs. The brake pads will come off. Reverse the process to install the new brake pads.

voltage regulater on the alternater is going bad

Open bleeder screws at each wheel (one at a time)
Push brake pedal down approx. 2/3 of its travel and observe brake fluid
Do this until fluid runs clean at each wheel

The vent valve is mounted underneath the vehicle in around the center point right next to the vapor canister (enclosed in metal box) mounted on same bracket that holds the canister.

disconnect the fuel lines under the van at the front of the gas tank use a reversed vacum cleaner at the filler don't make a positive seal at the filler

There is a cap that says transmission fluid only on it. It should have yellow or red writing.

1 Open the hood and find the front turn signal/parking lamp assembly. Detach the assembly by turning the thumbscrew.

2 Pull the headlamp away from the vehicle.

3 Loosen the black retainer ring that keeps the bulb attached.

4 Pull the bulb gently from the holder.

5 Remove the light bulb by lifting up the blue tabs and pulling out the bulb.

6 Insert the new bulb through the black ring and push firmly. Tighten the black ring down.

7 Return the assembly to the lamp housing. Reattach the thumbscrew.

My 2002 galant has a reverse flow system. The thermostat housing is in the radiator bottom hose. I had to take off the battery base to get to it.

Jack up vehicle and change the rear plugs from underneath!

If you have to ask - you can't do it. The transmission needs to be drained, then new fluid is pumped though to ensure all the old fluid and any contaminants are out. I just had mine done at a transmission shop - the GM dealer didn't even have the proper equipment to do this.

you will need to replace the fuel sensor and it is all in one with the fuel pump its in the gas tank.

disconnect positive on battery, remove throttle body , remove top intake then proceed to removing screws to 2nd intake . buy yourself a push rod remover on ebay save you a lot of time. keep eveything in order a cardboard box with holes in it works good naming screw location a good idea, etc.

there are two.. . one is under the hood ontop of the battery.. the other requires the passenger door to be open. then it is on the side of the dash that faces the passenger door.

To replace the brake light on a 2000 Pontiac Montana open the trunk to reveal the housing units. Find the lights and pull the bulbs out. Replace the units.

The easy answer is that you can take it apart and do a quick fix to get you by but it will need replacement no matter what. A new one is about a hundred dollars. If all is quiet then the relay for the window motor is bad or even the fuse could be bad.

The engine coolent may be low enough that sensor is not surounded with coolent when engine is not running.

no i dont think so i got 20's on my 2001 alero and i only got about a inch left from the top of the tire to the bottom of the strut and a only got a 225/30/20 tire

The tires/rim size is listed right here.

Tire size - 215/60/R15"

Rim Size - 15" So I am not so sure about 22 inch rims. You might want to consult a Mechanic.

If it has bleeder valves then use them to bleed the system, if not, jack up the front of the vehicle as high as possible. Remove the radiator cap and start the engine. Add coolant to keep the system full. This will allow air to escape.

Yep - you're on the right track. Faulty resistor (rheostat) would be my first guess. The switch is probably fine.

Depends on the tread of the tire. You may have to cut the wheel well rubber. Why would you put 20's on that car anyway. Rotational Inertia is a term that you need to look up regarding wheel that are larger than 17".

There are two ports on the air conditioner compressor on a Montana. Attach the refrigerant to the lower port and recharge the system.

That's going to be on the fuel rail at the intake manifold

First thing to do is to check that the automatic door opening function has not been accidentally turned off. There are a row of toggle switches for various functions adjacent to the dome light in the headliner near the rear view mirror. One of these toggles turns the auto door on and off. Sometimes kids can get to this and toggle it by accident. If you can't determine which switch is associated with the door by looking at the image on the button check the owners manual for description.
If you have checked the on/off toggle switch and it is "on" but the door still does not open/shut automatically try this solution:
Disconnect the positive batter cable for a few min. check the fuse. Have done the disc. on mine and it worked fine again.

There is no distributor on a 99, so there are a few sensors that can cause this. If you've had your intake replaced, or it is leaking, it could be the Cam sensor, which is located on the top of the engine, under the power steering pump, there is also a crank sensor (Is your tachometer working?) and lastly there is the ignition module which is located under the coil packs on the back of the engine.
