How soon can you use tampons after giving birth?
If by delivery you mean childbirth, you need to wait at least one month before using tampons. It's also important to only use tampons when you know your flow pattern, for the first few months after childbirth flow patterns can be erratic so you risk using too high an absorbency if not careful.
Is standing while pregnant bad for you?
It depends on how far along you are. Standing in and of itself is not a bad thing. But standing for too long can be a hard thing on your lower back. Women (and their partners) should realize that pregnancy is not a disease, it is a normal everyday condition that has been going on for thousands upon thousands of years. Women who are pregnant go to work, they till the fields, tend the house, bath the children (they had before) and do all manner of physical things. I've known patients who have worked up to the very day they gave birth.
Good luck!
What common drug that is used to stop bleeding?
Put pressure on the cut using a towel or napkin or something for a while. That should make the bleeding stop. That is only for minor scrapes and cuts though. if it wont stop bleeding go to the hospital. You dont need drugs to stop bleeding. =\ Do you mean to stop the pain? Use Tylenol or something i guess.

I suppose one could also use a product like New Skin, but having used it myself I can tell you it burns! For ingested medications, vitamin K thickens the blood and reverses the effects of medicines like Coumadin. Lasix or HCTZ can also thicken blood, but this is not their intended purpose. Finally, nicotine also thickens the blood, but I'd advise against using it for this!

How long after having a baby does the hcg pregnancy hormone stay in your system?
The maximum HCG is reached between 9 and 10 weeks and then falls until 18 weeks when it remains level until the end of pregnancy. It then starts falling as soon as the placenta is delivered. I am not certain, but I believe it is negligible after 3 days.
Prolactin levels have a great deal to do with milk production and release as does oxytocin (another hormone). Since prolactin is sometimes a component of birth control pills it is possible that milk leakage is the result of oral contraception. The other factor, oxytocin, promotes the emptying of breast and is released with physical stimulation of the breasts, either by the baby but not necessarily so.
Always a good idea to consult your OB/G.

£521 for men and £421 pounds per week for women Hi Scunfarmer; thanks for your answer; (above), but I'm cynical of the reliability of the sources for your UK, average, adult income figures. * your figures add upto an average, income of approx' £25,000 p.a. This is only £5000 below the UK government's quoted 'household, average, income figure' and the government's 'household' apparrently contains 2 adults. So I think that MP's have mislead the Public on the average adult, income by around 100 per cent. I think it's important to the current extremely wealthy MP's deceitfully to suggest that the average, adult income is about £500 p.w because then MPs salaries of about £1250 p.w. don't look so democraticaly disgusting. Where as; were MP's to publish the true, average, adult income figure which i think is about £250 p.w. then the MP's starting salary of about £1250 p.w. does look disgusting particularly to those people that realise both that the first part of everyones income has to go on the essentials and that MPs still pretend to be a democratic government I.e a government by the People for the People rather than a plutocracy which is a government only by the wealthy. Id appreciate it if you would check out the source for your figures.
Losing the mucous plug, labor can start in a matter of hours, or a weeks. It really isn't a sign of anything..

How long does break through bleeding last?
On hormonal birth control you no longer ovulate so you no longer menstruate, instead you get a withdrawal bleed caused by the drop in hormones as a result of going from active to inactive pills. Your withdrawal bleed will only last as long as your placebo pills at most, so that's just one week.
When you first start the pill it is normal to see irregular bleeding so for the first three months you may bleed longer.
Do you have two sacks of water to break when in labor?

Are stitches supposed to come out by the second week?
Stitches are normally removed after 10 days, but sometimes earlier on their own. If you think they came out earlier than they should have, consider whether you did anything that could have caused them to do so, like strenuous activity or sport. If so, refrain from any other activities of the kind for four or five days. If it is bleeding, you can cover it with a bandage; if the wound has reopened, you need to go see a doctor. If neither, it will be fine.
You are 4cm dialated and 80 effaced how long before labor can start?
Being 4 cm dilated and 80% effaced indicates that you are in the early stages of labor, but it's difficult to predict exactly when active labor will begin. Some women may progress quickly and go into labor within hours, while others may take days. Monitoring contractions and other signs of labor is essential, as these will provide better indications of when labor is imminent. Always consult your healthcare provider for personalized guidance.
Is it safe to wear corsets after having a baby?
According to bellefit, a post-pregnancy-recovery-corset-selling company, some corsets may actually be good for you. They claim
The growing fetus can stretch the rectus abdominis muscle as much as 50%. Still present after childbirth are hormones secreted during pregnancy such as estrogen, progesterone, and relaxin, which loosen the abdominal muscles, the pelvic structure, and supporting ligaments and joints. A Bellefit® support garment can offer greater stability to a woman's body after delivery. The garment acts to retract the body by drawing in stretched muscles and providing 360° structure to the torso, subsequently reducing strain on ligaments and joints in the lower back, pelvis, and buttocks. Reducing stress in these areas enhances the body's ability to return to its pre-pregnancy alignment and shape. Additionally, as shifted and constrained organs return to their pre-pregnancy locations, the wearer of a Bellefit® garment will feel held in place and more confident in her body movements.

After having a baby is there still suppose to be any discharge or do you need to check for a UTI?
After having a baby, women will bleed for the next 2-6 weeks. It will be like having a very long period, starting out heavy at first and getting lighter. If that flow changes - it gets heavier after it's already gotten lighter - you should see your doctor to make sure there isn't anything leftover or there isn't some kind of bigger issue. If the discharge is not blood, but doesn't seem like a normal clear, watery discharge, then it is possible you have a yeast infection or something else.
