What kind of oil to use in a Wagner paint sprayer?

Many airless paint sprayers do use hydraulic oil. Some use a small amount of hydraulic oil to move a diaphragm pump back and forth, while others use several gallons to supply a hydraulic pump that powers a separate paint pump.

The advantage of using a pump that uses hydraulics is the spray is much smoother, and can be run at a lower pressure than a mechanical machine that allows the pump to run until the top pressure is built, then allows the pressure to drop to a predetermined lower pressure before the pump is started again. This dead band will cause a fluctuation in pressure that is not seen in hydraulic pumps. At higher pressures, this isn't usually a problem; however, it can make the sprayer unusable at lower pressures.

Where was the seed drill invented?

The Babylonians made and utilized a single-tube seed drill, but the exact year is not known. It was sometime around 1500 BC.

The Chinese developed a multi-tube seed drill, but again the year is not known. It was sometime in the 2nd century BC.

Camillo Torello made the first seed drill in Europe. He received a patent for it in 1566.

The seed drill as we now know it was invented in 1701 by agricultural pioneer Jethro Tull (Yes, the band was named after him).

What is screw diameter?

There are all sorts of screw diameters - major, minor, pitch, mean, etc., but in general a screw diameter is a called by its nominal diameter which is the major diameter of the screw, approximately. For example a 1/2 inch screw has a nominal diameter of 1/2 inch.

How do you know how much torque your electric impact wrench is putting out?

You can never get exact torque, but with a little practice you can come close.

first, set your gun on it's min setting and you compressor on max rated for that gun. tighten a bolt, removing the gun the moment it starts to slip. Use a torque wrench to verify the torque on the bolt.

second, do this for the next two setting on your gun. and mark down all values.

Third, reduce the air pressure on your compressor by 10psi and repeat the steps above, always writing down the values.

four, reduce your air pressure by another 10 psi and repeat.

Eventually you will have a chart of approximate torque delivery.

Five, repeat all steps above to verify consistency.

The key is two fold,

always remove the gun at the same time for all settings.

always make sure you gun is getting the same air pressure for each stage selected

Why do you think it is best for a soldering iron to have a soldering stand?

Have you ever had a soldering iron roll off the table and land on your wrist, burning a hole that took over a month to heal? I did in 5th grade while building one of the Radio Shack electronics kits I had received for Christmas!

Learning from that I made my own soldering stand from a small metal can and poured over a half inch of lead into the bottom from my lead soldier casting set to make sure that the weight of the soldering iron could not tilt the soldering stand!!! I was never going to run the risk of a soldering iron getting away from me again!!!!!

Can you use 120 vac 60 hz drill in a 240 vac 50 hz power outlet?

The voltage is OK, but certain types of motor can't be run on the wrong frequency. If the appliance uses a commutator motor, like many hand tools, it would probably be OK.

How do you use a 110 volt tool in a 240 volt plug?

In the UK builders' hand-tools for use on outdoor sites run on 110 v and you can get a portable 3 kVA transformer to convert 240 to 110 for about £30 if you look around.

The 110 v secondary has a centre-tapped earth so that both lives wires are 55 v to earth.

Why it is important to follow safety rules for a sander?

What is a drill used for?

There are heaps of types of drilling. You need heaps of stuff to do drilling. You can find water, gold & all sorts of stuff.

Drilling can also refer to repeated practice of skills or repetition of facts in order to master them. For example, in a weapons drill soldiers repeat disassembling and reassembling a weapon dozens or even hundreds of times until they can do it swiftly even under battle conditions. In a technical drill, students might solve the same type of problem repeatedly until they can be assured of recognizing it and dealing with it appropriately in their workplace.

What is drilling machine?

A vertical drill press is a large drilling machine that stands on a very heavy steel base. A 3" steel column extends up either about 6 feet for a floor model or 3 for a bench model. At the top of this column is an elongated box with the motor at the back, driving a shaft with a 4 tier pulley above it. The front of the box contains a hollow shaft with a spindle inside it. The spindle also has a 4 tier pulley on top. The hollow shaft can be wound up and down by the side control lever. lowering or raising the drill shaft and chuck, A belt between the 2 pulleys drives the spindle and the chuck connected to it's lower end. In the middle of the column, a table, usually about 15 " square can move up and down the column to adjust work height.

What is an air impact wrench?

Is a drill solid?

Well a drill can be a training exercise to train soldiers or people (eg a fire drill), in this case it is not a solid it is an activity.

However a drill can also be a mechanism for boring holes in this case it is made out of a solid but may not be completely solid in cross section. For instance a wood drill is entirely solid but an oil drill is a hollow tube.

What is the difference between 12v 7ah and a 12v 7ah 20hr?

What is a drilling machine?

A drill or drill motor is a tool fitted with a cutting tool attachment or driving tool attachment, usually a drill bit or driver bit, used for drilling holes in various materials or fastening various materials together with the use of fasteners. The attachment is gripped by a chuck at one end of the drill and rotated while pressed against the target material. The tip, and sometimes edges, of the cutting tool does the work of cutting into the target material. This may be slicing off thin shavings (twist drills or auger bits), grinding off small particles (oil drilling), crushing and removing pieces of the workpiece (SDS masonry drill), countersinking, counterboring, or other operations.

Drills are commonly used in woodworking, metalworking, construction and do-it-yourself projects. Specially designed drills are also used in medicine, space missions and other applications.
