How do you handle stress and pressure?
I handle stress by going to church, and talking to god as if he is the only one beside me. Ask him to release all that stress in me, and before i go home it's gone, believe me it's a great stress reducer.
If you are not religious, you can talk to friends or family. If you don't feel comfortable doing that, find a teacher or someone of that status(if you are in school). The worst thing you can do is keep the stress in, which only causes the pressure of it to grow stronger. Talk to anyone you feel comfortable with, and if you can't do that...write everything down whether it be on the computer or just on a scrap of paper. It will help relieve the anxiety you are feeling even if it doesn't completely disappear.
TOTALLY AGREE WITH WRITING EVERYTHING DOWN..,INCLUDING HAPPY FUN MOMENTS! I personally feel "Prescribed!" Pharmaceuticals REALLY HELP!

AnswerWell let's see, if we look at existentialism as utilized by christian existentialists, the general outlook could be yes. Most christian existentialists hold the belief that their existence is determined by God. This is because he had the idea of each individual person planned out before they're born(or created). What that person becomes is the product of what God intended them to be "called to do" in their life. Now with that said, if we take existential therapy, and utilize an incorporation of bible passages in to therapy (ala bibliotherapy) then one could say that an individual could use various bible passages as an inspiration to help them find their purpose in life (or meaning to their life) by following God's will. This, I think, could be one way for psychology and Christianity to be intergrated.*My Better Answer in short words* Improved by Carmencutie09

You are doing a degree in communication with a minor in psychology what jobs are there for that?
Unfortunately, the psychology angle will be quite limited. You need at least a major in psychology (usually) to become a research assistant with psychologists or social workers. You cannot counsel patients without at least a master's, so research is really the only type of jobs that may be open (in my experience). If you want to pursue a job working with patients in a patient-care setting (hospitals, community health center, etc) you need to go for a more advanced degree. Additionally, communications and psychology are the two most popular majors for undergraduates. Less than 5% of students with a psychology major or minor actually work in the field. Therefore, I would suggest trying to differentiate yourself in some way. If you start volunteering in patient care situations, you may be able to get hired later based on your experience.

They're often pretty much just all-around better, although depending on your definition of a 'good environment' they may have a more isolated view of the world. Make sure their good environment includes understandig of other cultures, neighborhoods, lifestyles, et cetera when age appropriate. A good environment can boost a child's self-esteem, intelligence, make them more eager to learn and flourish and imagine and create. They can be much happier over-all. With a warm, loving, supportive environment, a child can get on the right path and stay there to achieve their full potential. Just remember, when trying to create what you think is a good environment -- EVERYTHING IN MODERATION. Getting to carried away about something can make a child turn away from it. 'Supportive' is between 'Pushy' and 'Neglectful'. Love is between hate/nonchalance and obsession. Informative is between shoving it down your throat and secretive. Providing for them is between spoiling them rotten and restricting them from everything.
Hope this can help.

Why do teachers need to study psychology?
Although nobody "needs" to study psychology, teachers who don't would be badly disadvantaged. Presumably, teachers want their students to learn what they have to teach, and psychology has amassed over 100 years of data regarding the conditions under which learning takes place.
There are many research methods of psychology. These include archival research, case studies, self-report inventory, animal research, and human-subject research.
