The radio code for a 93 Acura Vigor can be found either under the ashtray or on the inside of the trunk's top. There is a sticker there with a 5-digit code.

Many GPS units will show your position based on the path you were following when the signal was lost. If you were to go into a tunnel with your GPS unit off and turn it on while in the tunnel it wouldn't show your position.

Toyota sound systems have a internal antitheft code. You must have that code to use the system once it has been powered down/ disconnected. Often times it can be found written ion the back page of the owners manual....hopefully!

On my 93' transport # Remove radio from car. # Remove face # unplug the "keyboards" (3 of them) # Remove the two light panels # run 5v-12v through the light boards to see which bulbs are burnt # Get new bulbs # sodier in new bulbs # reinsert the two light panels # plug in all three keyboards # attach face # reinstall radio I really recommend testing the light panels before reassembly I put the radio back in the car twice before bench testing them. Then the third install I forgot to pug the lower keyboard back in. I haven't remove the radio a Fourth time yet to fix that. Go slow and try not to forget any step.

If you have the original ford book for the car it should tell you or take the vin number to a ford dealer and they can give you the code with proof of owner ship of car

Just bought one of these last week and was frustrated by the lack of a wiring diagram, so I posted one to my blog: http://www.portecho.net/?p=373. It's easier to show with a diagram than explain in words, so I recommend checking out that image.

Basically, with the wiring terminals facing up, the front row (closest to the shaft) is the right channel and the back row is the left. Using the same orientation, the right-most terminal is for your grounds, the middle is input, and the left is output. Don't forget to wire input and output grounds together.

So, strip your input and output wires, solder the red wires to the right and white/black to the left and copper to the ground. Hope that helped.

1. check the fuse(s), usually marked radio 2. check the connections to radio 3. try another radio or yours in another car to make sure the radio can work 4. check ALL fuses in the block, there may be a line going to it that is covered in a general fuse 5. check the ground, make sure its connected ETC.

Remove Stock Ford Radio To remove the radio you will need a "Radio Removal Tool". This is a "U" shaped pin with a dent at the end. This can be commonly found at auto parts stores or, WalMart, etc (widely available for $3-$4). For '98 Malibu first you have to know your code (probably a four digit code). Mine started with 0 and I disregarded that. After you find the code turn on car to acc. and push the minute button until numbers come up. Then push the hour button to get your first number and then minute button for last two numbers. Push am/FM button. Your car should be set. I had to insert a CD in mine which it was then kicked out then the radio started working. Hope this helps.

My 1995 town car horn does not work, sometimes it work one times when I start the car. I have a 1994 Town car and my horn and cruise only work when the adjustable steering column is in the lowest setting. Haven't figured it out yet.
