Whatever you do, don't pay a dealer to do it. Halfords did mine (Dynamique, not scenic, but I believe they do Scenic's also) for less then £3. If you try and do it yourself you could spend hours trying and failing.

i was advised to replace the Cam Belt at 75000 miles or five years whatever was soonest, For piece of mind i also changed the belt tensioner and the water pump, as costs were minimal compared to an engine failure!

Its bad news mate definetly not for the faint hearted, you need to remove the subframe from the bottom and drop the complete engine and gearbox from there sounds simple ? not really nuts and bolts are put in the most awkwerd places, if you got air con it gets even more fun. i just changed a clutch on one and its been a somewot of a nightmare, we did try to lift from the top as this can be acheived but it turned easyer to go down. once you got there the rest is simple as far as changing the gearbox is concerned. sorry to be the bearer of bad news mate but i just had to do it my self jason

it's either down 2 ur egr valve it's clogged up with carbon,the turbo pressure sensor or even the wires on the plug that lead 2 the turbo pressure sensor,iv'e now been told it cud b turbo vacuum sensor...these r problems that iv'e gone thru.. i'm just in the process of changin the vacuum sensor,as ive replaced the 1st 2 as nothing changed..car still in limp mode,

IF THEY ARE THE BACK PADS YOU NEED TO UNBOLT THE TWO STAR SHAPE BOLTS THAT HOLD THE CALIPER ON THEN IT IS EASYER TO UNCLIP HANDBRAKE CABLE FROM CALIPER MAKE SURE THAT YOU UNSCREW THE TOP OFF WERE YOU FILL THE BRAKE FLUID UNDER THE BONNET THEN WITH CALLIPER IN HAND YOU HAVE TO WIND PISTON IN NOT PUSH MOST TIMES YOU WILL FIND THAT YOU HAVE TO PUSH IT IN JUST UNTIL YOU FEEL IT OR SEE THE PISTON GOING IN AS YOU ARE TURNIG IT YOU CAN USE MOLE GRIPS TO TURN THE PISTON BUT PUT A CLOTH UNDER TEETH YOU DONT HAVE TO HAVE THEMM THAT TIGHT SOON AS THE PISTON IS IN FULLY REPLACE PADS PUT CABLE BACK ON DONE YOU CAN BUY TOOL FROM ANY MOTOR FACTOR TO SCREW PISTON BUT IT CAN BE DONE THIS WAY FRONT CALLIPERS JUST PUSH IN

Moving the computer screen display using the top buttom on the windscreen wiper column until "service in **** miles " is displayed
With the "service in *** miles " message displayed,hold down the same button,used to change the message displayed, located on the wiper column until the "service in **** miles " message flashes,when it flashes showing the correct service interval in miles,press the button on the indicator column (normally used for cruise control) The display shoul now show the correct service interval.
