How do you tell that your goldfish is male or female?
Sexing Goldfish outside of the breeding season is extremely difficult. In the breeding season males develop small white pimples (breeding tubercles) on their gill covers and along the edge of their front fins (pectoral fins). Females are generally more rounded and deeper in body shape as they fill with roe (eggs) and have a larger vent before the anal fin.
How do you identify a male and female goldfish?
There is no sexual dimorphism in Oscars (Astronotus ocellatus) although some amateurs may claim different. (Comparing fins has been touted but that's like comparing hair length in humans) The only two ways to tell are by actually netting and upending the fish to examine its' sexual organs (job for an expert) or watch them spawning and check out the shape of their 'tubes'. The female has a wide tube and is the one that lays the eggs. The male follows after the female and has a pointed tube it does not lay eggs.

Breeding should only be done if the gliders lineage is known. Now, if you have all of the gliders lineages and they all check out, then breeding can be done..and most likely a white face would be produced. However, breeding trios very rarely work. What tends to happen is that the male bonds most with one female, leaving the other female on the outside. In some occasions, the other female will help out with the young, but more often than not the other female just seems to be stressed out.
Also, just because you have a male in with two females does not mean that both females will mate with him. A reputable breeder that I know attempted a breeding trio for years... only one female ever produced joeys.
Just a note, I do not recommend trying to produce as many joeys as possible quickly. Please consider who would care for the joeys, and the stress that having repeated joeys can bring upon the mothers body.
Can sugar gliders and hamsters stay in the same cage?
I really suggest you don't( they could fight , or worse kill each other) I don't believe they can mate so if you do put them in the same cage don't expect babies...
Species such as sugar gliders, which are marsupials, and hamsters, which are rodents, should never be mixed in the same cage. Their diet, behaviours and needs are vastly different.
What is the biggest sugar glider?
There are six different species of glider in Australia, and the sugar glider is just one of them. There are not different types of sugar glider. Since sugar gliders have become exotic pets for people overseas (not their native home of Australia, where they are fortunately protected and therefore may not be kept as pets), breeders have begun classing them by colour, including lecustic, ringtail, white tipped, albino, black beauty and white faced blonde. These are not species, however.
Glider species include:
Of these, the largest is the yellow-bellied glider.
