SHAME SHAME SHAME

The above lines are not correct. Ahle hadess states that we should only respect Allah we should not go to the darga and ask as if we doing prayer to the god . We should strictly follow quran.

Answer 2

Ahle hadees has different meanings but mostly is a name used for Wahhabi Muslims. if you study about them you understand they are a political group who seek keeping power. only study about wahhabism. they could get power in Arabia by support of Britain and destroy other tribes and establish saudi state.

wahhabism is made by British to make animosity between the Sunni and the Shi'ites to 'devide and rule'. study related links below.

please distinguish between sunni Muslims and extremist Wahhabi (Salafi).

Salaf literally means "past people"[=Sahaba] and Salafi means who follows Sahaba of prophet. but today Salafi is same as Wahhabi. but they do not like to be called Wahhabi. they prefer to be called Salafi. Wahhabism is founded by Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab based on beliefs of Ibn Taymiyyah in Saudi Arabia. today Wahhabism is based in Saudi Arabia and is propagating beliefs of Wahhabism in world very powerful and with high financial support by petrodollars from Saudi Royal family.

Wahhabi is in fact supported by US, Israel and England to make conflict inside Muslims and finally to destroy Islam.

Ashura day keep the message of Imam Hussein (sa) alive to reach all humans.

Husain (sa) wanted to send his message with his blood to all the world and to all the humans.

the message of Hussain is:

there is two different Kind of Islam.

the pure Islam of prophet and Islam of Yazid (Ummayids) who celebrated killing of Husain (sa) the Imam and real Caliph of their time.

Husain (sa) said:

with Yazid, Salam [bye] to Islam.

Quran says:

"[en.sahih] Have you made the providing of water for the pilgrim and the maintenance of al-Masjid al-Haram equal to [the deeds of] one who believes in Allah and the Last Day and strives in the cause of Allah? They are not equal in the sight of Allah. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. [9:19]"

Wahhabism is the continue of deviated version of Islam made by Yazid and Umayyad dynasty to can control ignorant Muslims for their worldly greeds.

top Umayyad leaders (abu sufyan,..) did not have any belief in God and Quran and revelation.

without Wahhabism shia and sunni have no problem and are friends.

How did the issue of heredity cause a division of Islam into Sunni and Shiite Muslims?

During the last years of the third Rightful Caliph Hazrat Usman Ghani (RAU), a hypocrate newly converted 'Muslim', Abdullah Bin Saba started attributing godly qualities to Hazrat Ali (RAU). He propagated that Hazrat Ali (RAU) deserved the Caliphate. It is interesting to note that Hazrat Ali (RAU) had been the active advisor to Hazrat Abu Bakr (RAU), Hazrat Umar (RAU) and Hazrat Usman (RAU), rather he was one of the six honorable Companions nominated by Hazrat Umar (RAU) just before his death, who were assigned the task of selecting the next caliph from among themselves. The ruthless murder of Hazrat Usman (RAU), the rebels responsible for this murder being in the force of Hazrat Ali (RAU), the battles between Hazrat Ali (RAU) and Hazrat Amir Mua'wiya (RAU), Hazrat Hasan's peace treaty with Hazrat Muawiya (RAU), accepting him the rightful Caliph by Hazrat Hasan (RAU). and finally the gruesome killing of the beloved family of our beloved Prophet (SAW) at karbala were the unfortunate incidents which culminated in the split of the Muslims into Shia and Sunni sects.

Why do Moroccans believe in Sunni Islam?

Answer 1

What is the problem? The Majority of Muslims are Sunnis (over 85%). However, both Sunnis and Shiaa Muslims differ in minor and side issues and both agree on the basic Islamic issues. So, it doesn't make so much difference to Sunni or Shiaa Muslim. Refer to question below.

Answer 2

As for Morocco in particular, there are particular historical reasons why Morocco currently has a Sunni Muslim majority. Prior to the arrival of the Islamic Armies in the late 670s and 680s Morocco was primarily Animist with small populations of Christians (especially along the Mediterranean Coast) and small populations of Jews (in the Atlas Mountains). Morocco converted to Sunni Islam quite rapidly in the 680s and 690s CE since many Amazigh (Berbers) wanted to take part in the new Umayyad Empire.

However, a small minority of Moroccans embraced Zaydi Shiite Islam and used the religious difference to promote self-rule, leading to the independent Shiite Idrissid Dynasty in the 780s to the 970s. The Fatimids eventually conquered the area bringing about a period of Ismaili Shiite Islam in Morocco. By the time that the Almoravids conquered most of Morocco in the 1040s, Morocco was mostly Shiite.

However, the Almoravids were Sunni from the Maliki School and pushed for the increasing dominance of Sunni Islam. After the Almoravids came the Almohads who discriminated harshly against Shiite Muslims and led to most of the country becoming Sunni from the Maliki School. From this point forward, every Moroccan Dynasty would support this form of Islam until it became almost unanimous, save for the Jewish and Christian populations still in the country. The Christians departed for the most part after the colonial period. The majority of the Jews left after the Establishment of the State of Israel, leaving a community of less than 4,000 individuals in Morocco.

What is the concept of ahle tashi?

Answer 1

Ahle Tashi (اہل تشیع) is merely the Urdu term for Shiite Islam. To read about what Shiite Islam is, see the Related Question below.

Answer 2 - Longer Answer

Ahle tashi is sect of Islam, after muwaeya(son of abu sufyan who was commander of kufar army and fought all battles against Prophet Muhammed s.a.w and accepted islam only when muslim army marched into mecca and he saw no hope) after hazrat Usman r.a was murdered by mob due to very actions of marvan(cousin of muwaeya) Hazrat Ali r.a was elected by the people to become the 3rd khalefa and during the rightful khelafat of Hazrat Ali r.a as Prophet muhammed during hujatul weda said: ( If i am your maula(leader) then Ali is your leader. .) reported by sunni sources and then muwaeya rebelled against Ali a.s and broke the holy khelafat chain and started the first civil war between muslims and after hazrat imam Ali r.a was murdered by his enemy's muwaeya found a good time, he then made a peace contract with Hazrat imam hasan a.s and under that conclusion that Muwaiya ibn abu sufyan will be khalifa and after him Hassan ibn Ali a.s son of hazrat Ali a.s will be elected as next rightful khalifa then muwaiya through poison murdered hazrat imam hassan a.s and installed it's corrupt kingdom instead and broke the contract that he have done with hassan ibn Ali a.s that after he Muwaeya died Hassan ibn Ali a.s would be nominated as khalefa through voting"bayat" of people but he wrote the (will) on his son's name therefore gave the power to his son illegally and without bayat yazeed the one tortured and murdered the holy prophet's grandson hazrat imam hussain r.a and the family of Prophet muhammed s.a.w ) through that holy khelafat chain was broken and khelafat turned into kingdom from Father-son from that date whom ever supported the Family of Muhammed s.a.w (ahl-e-bait) his grandsons became shia and who followed the path of yazeed son of muwaeya and later amawi khelafat that murdered ahl-bait( family of prophet) are today called WAHABI, today they call Shia kafir and the sunni are the people very confused between this whole thing and don't have the knowledge about such things. Wahabi's have destroyed islam's reputation through 9/11 WTC attack and sucide bombing, terrorism, massacre against civilians, throwing their extremist ideas of islam that even doesn't exist in Islam, it's a very extremist type of sect and they say Hussain wanted the khelafa therefore yazeed did the right thing they say anyone who is out of WAHABEYAT is kafir that means sunni, shia, barelvi all are kafir according to them and call for killing and murdering them will grant them heaven plus 72 virgin women the most beautiful of it's kind. but holy quran itself regarded sect as unlawful therefore no sect exist within islam, all are degraded, there is one Islam.

Is madinah masjid levenshulme for sunni or shia?

for both.

Shia and Sunni have mostly same beliefs and both believe in fundamental beliefs of Islam. Today there is up to 260 sects in Islam that are in two main categories of shia and sunni.

the conflict of shia and sunni has been always amplified by world Imperialism to prevent Islam from gaining power.

Shia believes in Allah, prophet and all fundamentals of Islam.

Shia pray 5 times a day but usually do the 2, 3 and 4, 5 pray together and so may seem they do only 3 pray a day. there is some differences in details of pray like genuflect (for shia should be on a stone or part of earth and for sunni on carpet or floor ).

shia believe after death of prophet God selected the successive for prophet who is the political leader of Muslim community and people can not and does not the right to selected it.

Shia believes the Caliph (Representative of God in earth) is selected only by God and can not be selected by people because God said in Koran: "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority" (Quran 2:30) or "O David! We did indeed make thee a vicegerent on earth" (Quran 38:26) also other verses.

Shia believes such verses means only God can select an Islamic political leader (Caliph).

In Shia Islam Caliphs after prophet are 12 Imams and all of them are the same and have no mistake and have the knowledge of everything (not absolute knowledge like knowledge of God) and they hear all sayings and even thinks of all humans after even after their death by permission of God and they are intermediates between God and human Shia Muslims always support them and forgive their lives for them.

Shia Muslims do not consider selection of Abubakr as Caliph by people valid because God did not select him. They believe God ordered prophet to declare people that Ali is selected as successor of prophet and prophet did this mission many times during his prophet-hood and mainly in Ghadir event after last Hajj of his life at a 3-4 hour speech in front of 120,000 Muslims at Ghadir in hot desert after 2 days stop of long caravan for gathering and 3 days after speech for congratulations and homage of Muslims to Ali. Islam at that time had high power in world and Some companions had high interest in leadership position after prophet. Muslims knew that it is the final Hajj of prophet (predicted by prophet) and were going along with prophet to hear what prophet says at end of his life. Shia believes Ghadir event is the most important event of Islam and is mentioned in Koran in many verses like "Today" (اليوم) in verse 5:3 of Quran is the day of Ghadir. Or Verse 5:67 (O Messenger! proclaim the (message) which hath been sent to thee from thy Lord. If thou didst not, thou wouldst not have fulfilled and proclaimed His mission. And Allah will defend thee from men (who mean mischief). For Allah guideth not those who reject Faith) is revealed at Ghadir day and is about declaring political leadership of Ali after prophet.

Both Sunni and Shia Muslims accept happening of Ghadir event But different interpret. Some Sunni writers tried to reject the event of Ghadir as declare of leadership of Ali and said at Ghadir prophet only wanted to say Ali is my friend and no one should bother him. Ali had 3 different missions to Yemen by prophet during 10 years and in 2 of them some companions of prophet had some conflicts with Ali and and prophet said some sayings about Ali to solve conflicts and some sunni writers have mixed stories of missions of Ali to Yemen with story of Ghadir to prove Ghadir event is not about Leadership of Ali and is not important.

Shia scholars believe some Sunni writers have changed and deviated historical evidences about political leadership of Ali in old historical books and republished them to destroy evidences of leadership of Ali from old Sunni books.

The famous Shia book Al-Ghadir (الغدير) by Allameh Amini is a collection of evidences and proofs for Ghadir Events written after referring to 100,000 Sunni books and full reading of 10,000 sunny books. Allameh Amini is a famous Shia scholar and spent 40 years of his life in travelling to access original old Sunni books in libraries in different countries to write this 20 volume book only from Sunni books and not using any Shia book. Some Sunni scholars tried to reply this book but then said if we want to reply this book we should first destroy all books of ourselves.

Shia doctrine have root in Karbala tragedy. When tragedy of Karbala happened most of Iranians understood there is two different kinds of Islam and after happening of Karbala tragedy most of Iranians became followers of "Ahl al-Bayt" and forgive their lives for them like what they did in Iranian Revolution and Iran-Iraq War. Shia Muslims have at least 120,000 Hadith (saying) from The Fourteen Infallibles that is the base of Shia Islam along with Quran. Shia believes according to " Hadith of the two weighty things" The Fourteen Infallibles are the only valid interpreters of Quran and sayings of them are from God because they are Representative of God in earth and they do not say anything from themselves. Shia believes 12th of them (Mahdi) is alive and because people have killed all 11 Imams before him, he is in hide like Jesus and will come out of hide toghether with Jesus when people become ready and want to accept his leadership. All 11 Imams have been killed and during their life thy all have been in prison or under hard control of government to not have any political action. They never had enough serious followers to can get political power. Among them only the sixth Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq was relatively free in his life to have only scientific activities (but banned from any political action) and so only he is known in west because he established university and had students from all over the world. Westerns know him as a polymath: an astronomer, alchemist, Imam, Islamic scholar, Islamic theologian, writer, philosopher, physician, physicist and scientist. He was also the teacher of the famous chemist, Jābir ibn Hayyān (Geber), and of Abū Ḥanīfa, the founder of the Hanafi school of Sunni Islamic jurisprudence. He never wanted be a famous man and only shared his knowledge with who wanted to learn. Some researchers consider his teachings the root cause of renaissance.

Sunni Muslims also accept Mahdi and his worldwide leadership as Caliph of God in earth at end of world. There is a famous Hadith from prophet Muhammad (PBUH) that Mahdi at hide is like sun behind cloud, he is hidden from people but people receive his benefits. Shia Muslims say some faithful believers have connection with Mahdi and use his knowledge. Shia Muslims believe that it is proved at least 1000 persons have had connection and talk with Mahdi during his hide period but Any one having relation with Mahdi keep it and does not declare it in public until is alive.

Is Hamas sunni?

YES. Hamas claims that they are a Sunni Jihadist organization. It is the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood (Ikhwan al-Muslimin) and, as a result, has the same religious policies as the rest of the Brotherhood, which is Sunni-oriented.

Which is the right path shia or sunni in the light of quran Allah and prophet teachings?

Whenever one is trying to find the right path, one must look at the source of the faith. And the sources of Islam are the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (pbuh) and the Revelation that was revealed to him, the Quran.

The Shia sect of Islam originated many years after the Prophet died. The Shia sect is a division caused merely by political differences of who should rule the Islamic State after the Prophet's death, which does not relate or affect ones inner faith and belief in God.

The right path is clear if one looks back at the the Quran and the Prophet's teachings, which can be found in the many books of "Hadith".

What was the main disagreement between Sunni and Shiite Muslims during the Reign of Ali?

after the death of the Holy prophet, A small minority, following Ali, refused to pay allegiance . at the head of the minority there were salman, Abu Dharr, Meqdad and Ammar. at the beginning of the caliphate of Ali also a sizable minority in disagreement refused to pay allegiance. among the most persistent opponents were saad ibn As , Walid ibn Uqbah, Marwan ibn Hikam, Amr ibn As, Busr ibn Artah, samareh ibn jundab , mighirah ibn shubah,

the study of biography of these two groups and meditation upon the acts they have perfumed and stories recounted of them in history books, reveal fuly their religions personality and aim. the first group were among the elite of the companions of the holy prophet and among the ascetics, devout worshippers and selfless devotees of islam who struggled on the path of Islamic freedom. they loved by by the prophet.

history is , however, full of acoounts of unworthy acts commited by some of the second group. the various acts committed by some of these men in opposition to explicit Islamic teachings are beyond reckoning. these acts cannot be excused in any manner except the way that is followed by certain groups among the Sunnis who say that God was satisfied with them and therefore they were were free to perform whatever act they wished and that they would not be punished for violating the injunctions and regulations existing in the Holy book and the Sunnah.

the first war in the caliphate of Ali, which is called the battle of the Camel, was caused by the unfortunate class differences created during the period of rule of second caliph as a result of the new socio-economic forces which caused an uneven distribution of the public treasury among members of community. when chosen to the caliphate, Ali divided the treasury evenly as had been the method of the Holy prophet, but this manner of dividing the wealth upset Talhah and Zubayr greatly. they began to show signs of disobedience and left Medina with Mecca with alleged aim of making the piligrimage. they persuaded the mother of the faithful, Aishah who was not friendy with Ali, to joined them and in the name of wanting to revenge the death of the third caliph , they began the loody battle of the camel.this was done despite the fact that this same Talhah and zubayr were in Medina were the third caliph was besieged and killed but did not nothing to defend him. furthermore, after his death they were the first to pay allegiance to Ali on behalf of the immigrants as well as on their own. also the mother of the faithful, Aishah did not show any opposition to those who had killed the third caliph at the moment when she recieved the news of his death. it must be recommended that this main instigators of the disturbances led to the death of the third caliph were those companions who wrote letters from Medina to people near and far inviting them to rebel against tha caliph. a fact which is repeated in many early muslim histories.

Who is the founder of Shiite Islam?

Shī'a Islam, also Shi'ite Islam or Shi'ismis the second largest branch of Islam, after Sunnism. Shi'as adhere to the teachings of Muhammad and the religious guidance of his family (who are referred to as the Ahl al-Bayt) or his descendents known as Shi'a Imams. Muhammad's bloodline continues only through his daughter Fatima Zahra and cousin Ali which alongside Muhammad's grandsons are the Ahl al-Bayt. Thus, Shi'as consider Muhammad's descendents as the true source of guidance while considering the first three ruling Sunni caliphs a historic occurrence and not something attached to faith. Shi'a Islam, like Sunni Islam, has at times been divided into many branches; however, only three of these currently have a significant number of followers and each of them has a separate trajectory.

From political viewpoint the history of Shia was formed from several parts. The first part is emergence of Shia which starts after Muhammad's death in 632 and lasts until Battle of Karbala in 680. This part coincides with the Imamah of Ali, Hasan ibn Ali and Husayn. The second part is the differentiation and distinction of Shia as a separate sect in Muslim community and opposition of Sunni caliph. This part starts after battle of Karbala and lasts until the formation of Shia states about 900. During this section Shia is divided into several branches. The third section is the period of Shia states. The first Shia state was Idrisid dynasty (780-974) in Maghreb. Then Alavids dynasty (864 - 928) established in Mazandaran (Tabaristan), north of Iran. These dynasties were local. But they followed by two great and powerful dynasty. Fatimid Caliphate which formed in Ifriqiya in 909. Then ruled over varying areas of the Maghreb, Egypt and the Levant until 1171. The Buyid dynasty emerged in Daylaman, north of Iran, about 930 and then ruled over central and western part of Iran and Iraq until 1048. In Yemen Imams of various dynasties usually of the Zaidi sect established a theocratic political structure that survived from 897 until 1962.

Would Confucius have agreed with the ideas of the Sunni Muslims or Shiite Muslims?

It is worth noting that any answer here is pure conjecture. Confucius had nothing to do with Islam or the split between Sunnis and Shiites. The split between the Sunnis and Shiites was due to political disagreements over who should rule. Confucius' words and concepts can be molded to support either side, see below.

Pro-Sunni View:

According to Confucius, a pious man is internally governed by the Te and a use of this Te leads to the perfect organization of government structure. A person who can maintain and govern his body and self loyally can expand these virtues to the governance of the state. This comes through three general requirements for a government: maintenance of economic self-sufficiency, military strength, and gaining the confidence of the people. In these three aspects, the Umayyads excelled. The economy grew substantially with the integration of former Byzantine and Sassanian bureaucrats. The Umayyad military successfully vanquished its adversaries in the Islamic Civil War, in Anatolia, Central Asia, and Iberia. The Umayyads also helped to establish the system of Qadis and Faqihs that created loyalty and confidence in the Islamic States.

Pro-Shiite View:

According to Confucius, there are five relationships that need certain behavior. One of these relationships is the one between rulers and subjects. The ruler is to be benevolent to the people. While the Umayyads were certainly good societal engineers, they were horrible to their citizens, especially when they massacred Hussein and his family. They were authoritarians who were violent and uncompromising. 'Ali, by contrast, was very well-received among the people and favorable towards them. He tried as best as possible to respond to requests to look into 'Othman's assassination, he came to negotiate with the Umayyads during the Islamic Civil War even when he had superior military strength, and he tried to pacify militant factions throughout the empire.

Additionally, the Confucian Concept of Chun-Tzu or the Ideal Man closely mirrors the Islamic concept of piety in which 'Ali excelled. There are five virtues that come with the sublimation of ego such as kindness, rectitude, decorum, wisdom, and sincerity. These attributes map better onto 'Ali than any of the other Rightly Guided Caliphs and certainly better than the Umayyads.
