The "check engine" light is not solely dedicated to the air filter and pcv valve. There are other things that can cause this caution light to illuminate on the dashboard. Assuming you bought this car new and that it has but 37k miles on it, it's most likely still in warranty and Toyota should be fixing this problem for you.

How do you replace a bulb in the headlight mount of a 94' Toyota Corolla?
Just did this today. First you have to remove the plastic air vent thing above the headlight(drivers side)-its atached to the metal frame. When removed you reach down to the back of the head light and unscrew and pull out the socket. Remove and replace the bulb then return the socket to the head light and screw it back in place. Its tricky due to the awkward position of your hands. Dont forget to replace the air vent thing. (sorry for the non-tech nature of the terminology)
The short form is: You pour fluid in one opening until it starts to run out of another opening. When it does that the transmission is full. There is no dipstick.
Fluid is added at the rear of the transmission housing ( a vertical surface) about 7-8 inches above the bottom of the housing. The car must be on a lift to access it. The other opening is a drain plug at the bottom of that housing. This plug connects to a tube that extends up into the housing. Open this plug (a small amount of fluid may drain) then add fluid through the rear housing opening until it starts to run out the bottom plug. The transmission is then full and at the proper level.
How do you change brake pads on 2005 Toyota Highlander?
Just did the job today. Keep car in park. Jack front wheel on one side. Remove wheel and be careful of touching a hot rotor. I did and it hurts. For rt front wheel, turn wheel to the left as far as it will go. For left front wheel turn to the right. Remove rubber cover on brake bleeder and loosen the bleed screw. Use a very thin screwdriver or equivalent to start pushing back the brake piston. Push piston back as far as it will go, and close bleeder screw while holding the piston back. This keeps air from entering the caliper. Remove two 14mm bolts and lift caliper up. Secure caliper with a piece of wire or bungee so the barke line is not harmed. I used "Prostop Ceramic pads" and no grease was needed. The pads just pop out and pop back in. Make sure the pad with the wear indicator is nearest you. Just put the two bolts back in attach bleeder cover and mount wheel. I then check my master cylinder for fluid and top it off. Repeat for the other three wheels except the back wheels will not turn of course. This is a very easy job. The hard part is removing and mounting the wheel. The jerks who rotated my tires last time used an air impact gun set to the max! I had to literaly stand on a breaker bar to loosen the nuts.

When should trans fluid be changed?
If all is working fine, and the transmission has never been overheated, an oil change around 50,000 miles ( 80,000 kms ) and the filter will do. Depends on the driving conditions and loads carried. You may follow dealers guide also.
This is not a typical thing to occur. Most likely there could be either a turn signal bulb out or the relay is starting to die. Besides the noise, you may notice the turn signal is going on and off really fast. Otherwise, there might be a wire pinched and shorting out in the steering column. I'd take it to a ford dealer if possible.
The mysterious tire warning reset switch isn't on the dashboard proper at all. Instead, it's under the lower lip of the dashboard near the steering column, just about where your left knee is. If you open the driver side door and look under the dash, you should see a small black "Tire Set" switch just slightly to the right of the OBD II port. Press the switch for about three seconds and the tire warning light should go off. The low tire pressure warning light will come on after the tires have been rotated. System must be reinitialized by pushing the reset button If your tires have been rotated you must "reinitialize" the system. With motor not running turn key to "on" position then push in the reset button, keep holding it until the warning goes out and the light blinks 3 times. Without this step the light reappears constantly.
Required maint light interval tocoma?
Don't exactly know what you're asking - but - the interval is pre-set at the factory and the light comes on when that pre-set mileage is reached to remind you to perform whatever service is called for IN YOUR OWNERS MANUAL.!
How do you reset vsc warning lite 2003 highlander?
If you are sure that it is the VSC (Variable Skid Control) warning light - it is not a warning light that you "re-set" like the service reminder, or the air pressure reminder, lights. It is a true warning light that something with either the braking system, or the skid detection system, is not functioning correctly. The only way to shut it off is to correct the problem. Get it to a dealer ASAP to get it checked.
