What is the bleed procedure for the cooling system on 1996 35 intrepid?
That engine has to be refilled with coolant in a manner that allows the air to escape. There could be air trapped in the cooling system from not having it filled properly after the radiator was replaced. Here is the way to get air out:
It would be good to start with only a partially filled system. Open the drain cock of the radiator and collect coolant fluid. It may not begin to outflow very much until you notice also that the thermostat housing has a bleed valve which if you open it will allow the fluid to drain from the radiator more rapidly. Drain about 3 quarts of coolant in a pan for reuse; then close the radiator drain cock.
Put a 4' length of clear plastic hose on the thermostat housing bleed valve nipple and direct the hose over the front of the car to a clean container to catch the coolant as you refill the system (You don't want coolant to get on the drive belts). Then take the cap off the recovery bottle and slowly fill the coolant recovery bottle until fluid starts to flow out of the clear hose. While adding coolant slowly as necessary to keep it running from the 4" hose, gently squeeze on the top radiator hose until all the air is exhausted from the system via the bleed valve hose. The outflow from the hose should have no air showing up. Close the bleed valve and fill the system the rest of the way until it reaches the to the mark on the side of the overflow bottle. Remove the hose from the bleeder valve nipple.
What is the transmission fluid for 07 highlander?
It would be Toyota type IV or WS fluid. Recommend you purchase from the Toyota dealer. The Toyota dealership parts store can tell you which one is for your model / powertrain. Type IV transmission fluid (possibly Mobil 3309 ATF) Mobil 3309 meets Type IV requirements. Not sure which company and type the WS ATF is. I would assume Mobil Oil as well, but is a different transmission fluid from Type IV.
Will 2009 highlander hybrid have a split 3rd row seat?
Nope. Not based on what I saw on the latest reviews of the 2009. It said folding bench seat. They sure aren't very bright.
hello is anybody there ?
What year and model might help.
Simple. Lower the armrest, then push IN HARD. The armrest will push in slightly towards the seat. When this happens, push DOWN on the armrest, twisting it until just about straight downwards. You'll feel the armrest loosen up. Jiggle it slightly while PULLING OUT on it-- it should then pull out of the seatback. After it's out, you'll see it operates by a pin on the armrest shaft that fits into a keyhole on the seat.
What is gas mileage for Toyota Highlander?
it sucks... around 15 miles per hour for street/highway combo...sometimes 16 MPH. i am appalled at how bad the gas mileage is........
Added: It will, of course, depend on your driving style, however I have an '04 six-cylinder and get about 22>24 mpg on the highway.
There is no exact figure for this due to varying driving conditions - there are usually a one to one and a half gallons remaining when the low fuel light activates.

Why does vsc light come on 2008 highlander and how do you turn it off?
The VSC (Variable Skid Control) function is automatically activated by the onboard computer of the vehicle. When the light is on - the system is activated. If the light remains on it means that the onboard computer senses that you are constantly driving on slippery road conditions and the computer senses a skid may be likely - or - that it has failed to deactivate for some reason.
There is no way (I know of) of manually deactivateng the anti-skid system. You may want to contact your mechanic or Toyota dealer.
If the light comes on and stays on even in non-slippery conditions it is signalling that a problem/fault has been discovered in the system by the onboard diagnostic computer (OBD). Have it checked ASAP as this important safety function may not be operating.

On my 2001 Sienna there is a fuse box behind the coin cup--inside the van on the drivers side next to the hood release latch. There is a fuse for the cigarette lighter (15A) that also protects the clock circuit. Additionally, there is a 15A fuse for '12V power' that protects the lower front lighter outlet and the rear lighter outlet.....
How many hours to drive from Kalamazoo Michigan to Norfolk Virginia?
Depends your route, but anywhere from ~13 hours to ~16 hours. The biggest "if" is traffic in and around Washington, DC, if you are going that route. Traffic there is terrible and hard to predict - interstates become parking lots for seemingly no reason, other times you can coast through alright. I typically head over to Cleveland on I-80, then cut south on I-77. This intersects with I-64 in Charleston, WV, which makes a good stopping point at around halfway (~7 hours from Detroit to Charleston). I-77 and I-64 are together for a bit south of there, then I-64 jogs east and will take you directly into Norfolk, VA.
What are the best winter tires for highlander?
The 2008, 2009 and on Toyota Highlander comes with either 17 or 19 inch stock rims. In case of my 2009 Highlander, it comes with 17x7.5 rims. The best winter wheel set you can get is the original Toyota 17x6.5 RAV4 (no typo here, 17x6.5 RAV4) steel rims (they look like alloy wheels) with the Michelin Latitude X-Ice Xi2 225/65R17 102T (Michelin Item# 21499, wear rating 730) winter tires. Both the RAV4 steel rims and the Michelin tires are one inch narrower then the originals, but they perform better on snow and ice because they are narrower.
If the original rims/tires on your highlander are 19 inch, then you need to check with your Toyota dealer to make sure the 17x6.5 RAV4 steel rims will fit on your car before ordering anything. They work on my 2009 Highlander (17" wheels) beautifully.
What causes a loud squeaking noise whenever you turn ignition on your 05 Toyota Highlander on?

Where is the 2007 Toyota Highlander tire pressure reset button?
There is no tire pressure reset button on this year and model vehicle. On this 07 Highlander, it is self reseting. Set all tires to the correct psi (there is a label on the inner driver side door) and don't forget about the spare tire as well (which is located in the back of the vehicle, underneath). Start the vehicle and drive it around the block, it should reset on it's own. If it doesn't and all the tires are at the right psi, you should check with your nearest Toyota dealership for any problems with the tire sensor system.
Answer
On the 2007 Highlander, the tire pressure reset button is located on the left side under the steering wheel (almost at your knee level) or you can say on the right of the hood release lever. You can feel it with your hand or see it if you stand out of your Highlander and open the driver side door and look on the right side of the hood release. You can check the Manual - I was getting the light and looked up in the Manual and found how to reset it. Good luck.
How do you fix your Driver's Side automatic Window It went down but won't go back up?
There are a few different things you can try. One if the window came off track, you will need to either take apart the door interior to get inside. Be careful not to break off any of the tabs. Prior to do thing though, try to figure out what went wrong - does the motor still work, are the gears still working or have they been ripped up. If its only off the track and you can somehow get a pair of pliers down to pull up the window you might get lucky and get it started. Test it by rolling it down part way. Hope this helps a little.
Where could I find an engine diagram for a 2003 Toyota Highlander?
You can purchase a Haynes Manual specific to your vehicle at most auto parts stores.
