What is the timing on a Toyota 2Y engine?
The timing on a Toyota 2Y engine is typically set to 10 degrees before top dead center (BTDC) at idle when the engine is warm. It’s important to ensure that the timing belt or chain is in good condition and properly aligned during maintenance, as improper timing can lead to engine performance issues. Always refer to the specific service manual for the exact timing specifications and procedures for your model year.
What is the radiator antifreeze capacity of a 2003 Toyota tundra with an 8 cylinder engine?
The radiator antifreeze capacity of a 2003 Toyota Tundra with an 8-cylinder engine is approximately 12.5 quarts (about 11.8 liters). This includes the capacity of the radiator and the engine coolant system. It’s important to check the owner's manual for the exact specifications and recommendations for your specific vehicle.
Yes, a 22R lazor block with flat top pistons can work with a 22R cylinder head that originally came from a dome top piston block, but there are important considerations. The compression ratios and combustion chamber shapes differ between flat top and dome top pistons, which can affect engine performance and efficiency. It's crucial to check for proper clearances and compatibility, as well as to consider tuning adjustments to optimize engine performance after the swap.
How do you remove an dash cup holder in a 1993 Toyota pickup?
To remove the dash cup holder in a 1993 Toyota pickup, first, ensure the vehicle is off and the keys are removed. Use a flathead screwdriver or a trim removal tool to gently pry around the edges of the cup holder to release it from the dashboard. If there are screws securing it, remove those with a Phillips screwdriver. Once loose, carefully pull the cup holder out from the dash.

Hi Will a 1955 dodge short bed pickup fit on an S 10 Frame both are at 108 wheelbase?
With a cutting torch, welder and some imagination, why not. As long as the wheels fit in the openings everythng else can be modified to work. New body mounts as needed. Steering, wiring, brakes can all be done. Only other issue would be width. You could change the width of the frame if need, but it would be a real hassle and greatly increase the cost of the project.
Internl fuse location in 1992 gmc pickup radio?
You should check the fuse inside the truck it is either on the driver side by the door or under the dash on the driver side If you have an aftermarket deck and the fuses are good in the trucks fuse holder there is one behind the deck. To access it you have to pull out the deck. Any stereo shop can find it and replace it for you.
You may want to try www.autozone.com they may have the diagram for a truck of that year.
I have never had luck finding one specifically for the 20R, but when I put my 20R back together, this was a great resource: http://www.bluebassdesign.com/boonin/carb_faq/
There are a few differences between the 22R and the 20R, but it should be close enough for you to get an idea.

How do you bleed the brakes on a 1986 4 wheel drive Toyota truck?
1.install clear vinyl tube snugly over the bleeder plug on wheel cylinder .( you may have to remove a small plasic cap)
2.Place other end of tube in a med. glass jar 1/2 full of fluid.
3. make sure brake fluid res. is full of fluid.(located under hood in front of steering wheel)
4.Have an assistant slowly pump the brake pedal several times.on the last pump hold the pedal down as far as possible.
5. While the brake is applied, open the bleeder plug. The pedal will go down towards the floor.close the bleeder while there is still pressure in the cylinder.(BEFORE it gets all the way to the floor)
6. Repeat until all air bubbles are removed then move to the next wheel.
7. after each wheel cylinder is bled make sure to fill the brake fluid res.
8. when bleeding a hydrolic brake system always start at the wheel farthest from the resivior/master cylinder and work down the line ending with the closest wheel.
9. top off the fluid one last time.
10. check for leaks at the bleeders for a day or two.
Where is the low pressure port on a 1992 Toyota V6 pickup?
If you are referring to the low pressure valve for charging the air, I found mine (1988 pickup) somewhat deep in the lower front left of the engine. The low and high pressure valves on my pickup were very close to each other and the low pressure valve points inward (toward the driver). There is about 2" of clearance above the valve port which makes it immensely frustrating to charge, especially with a R134a conversion kit. The conversion adapter cuts your clearance down to about 1", and almost all recharge cans have a hose so short you can't even turn the can upside down or shake it. Plus, everything around the port gets hot enough to burn your fingers when the engine is running. I found a R134a extension hose at Auto Works but it didn't work with the conversion nipple, the freon wouldn't go through. I finally located a R12/134a angled converter from Napa Auto Parts for around $7 bucks, but I noticed the R12 screw on doesn't have a pin in it to open the valve. Apparently you have to remove the valve core stem on the port. I can't find any article on the web that says yes or no on that, and nobody at any auto store knew either. I bought a valve core removal tool at Napa just in case also and am going to try both ways tonight. Going on my 2nd week attempting to charge the air. What a nightmare.....at least its been under 90 degress out lately. Hot and Burned
