Depending on what you are referring to with the term Lycan, there are many things which can kill them.

In terms of the Underworld Series, silver severely weakens a lycan, and a heavy amount can kill. If can also kill them if silver is introduced directly into the bloodstream, causing a mass and instant effect.

Other "common" methods can also kill a lycan, such as severely damaging the body, severing the brain stem from the rest of the body (breaking its neck), and shooting them in the head. Basically any common method which would cause mass or severe damage would kill a lycan, as although they may be immortal or have a high tolerance and heal rate, they are still as vulnerable as humans.

There is this goth girl named Raven who doesn't really fit in, and lives in a small town with only one friend. There's this creepy mansion on top of a hill in the town, whch she really loves. One day she hears that someone moved into the mansion, and see really wants to met this person. After a bunch of sneaking around later, she does. It's a guy her age, 17, named Alexander. He's living there with his butler. Apparently the house once belonged to Alexander's grandma, but she died. The whole series is about Raven and Alexander. It's really funny, but has lot of romance, since it is based on the two of them, but not so much that you get sick of it. Personally I LOVED the series. Can't wait for the seventh book to come out May 18th 2010!
