Try some needle nose pliers to pinch the fuse out.

So far I've been able to discover that apparently it's under the hood, also tied to the Radio, possibly with the interior lighting -- however none of those items are listed on my diagram in the car fuse boxes... so the search continues for me.

On my son's 1987 Honda Accord the lighter is fused with the interior lights. It is a 15 amp fuse that is under the hood right behind the battery.

Also i might add that the cigarette lighter fuse for the 1990 Honda accord ex it is also located not in the vehicle itself but under the hood behid the air intake/filter and a 15 amp fused also part of the interior light circuitry as per the 1987/86

The fuseable link for the ignition could be on the starter, or running along the firewall.

on that year it should have a in-line fusible link near the starter. you can find at any auto parts place.

The cigarette lighter fuse on a 1993 Ford Crown Victoria is located in the fuse panel on the driver's side of the dash. A person has to open the driver's side door to access this fuse panel on the side of the dash. The cigarette lighter fuse is the sixth location down on the far left hand side of this fuse box. It is a 30 Amp fuse.

In the passenger compartment fuse panel ( # 27 ) is a light blue color

It has a specific fuse on the fuse panel under your steering wheel. Replace with specified AMPS and check.

Look at the diagram on the fuse box cover. It will answer both questions.

pop the bonnet, and as your looking at the engine, look to your right hand side, and theres a black box. unclip the lid, that's your fuse box.

But there are 2 adjacent black boxes. the left hand box lid unclips but will only open about 1 cm before hitting the panel above so can't access the contents. Or is it the right hand box?

look in your owners manual and it should tell you.

There is a fusebox in the passenger compartment. Check your owners manual, it will tell you how to find it. Thanks for the information... There is no fuse in the owner's manual labeled "Cigarette Lighter"... I assume the cigarette lighter fuse is labeled as something else... Do you know what it is labeled?Could be labelled something like, Accessory, or, Aux. Hard to say. It should be a 15A fuse, so just pull all of the 15A fuses and make sure they aren't fried.

where is the fuse box located in the Lincoln navigator

The fuse for the lighter is under the hood inside a square plastic box on the driver's side.

On the under side of the lid is a fuse diagram. The fuse is in the shape of a small cube, which I could only find at a dealer.
