There are two sensors. One is blue and one is black. There located on the water flange where all your radiator hoses meet. Simple fix. Drain the radiator, remove the wire connectors, remove the clips and pull the sensore out.

Mounted to the top/inside of the gas tank. Accessable through a panel in the floor of the trunk.

Low oil pump pressure due to crankshaft bearing bad

I believe you have to take it a vw dealer, an auto lock specialist. or you take the door apart, replace parts if necessary or repair the track if that is possible. Also check fuses.

It should have a circuit breaker in the fuse box.

You should have a separate fuse box under dash just left of stearing colum. It has fuses and circuit breakers in it. I have a 2003 silverado and it took along time to find the second fuse box.

The PCV valve on a VW cabrio, is the black circular thing sticking out the right hand side of the valve cover, its a dealer only part and costs about $80

On the 1.8L JH engine it can be located in one of two positions;

behind and below the fan, or behind the engine above the passenger

CV driveaxle.

On the 4-cylinder 2.0, the thermostat is located just below the water pump and above the power steering pump. To access it, you must remove the power steering pump and bracket. Leave the pump connected to the bracket. There is no need to separate them. Remove the power steering pump & bracket by first removing the belt from below. Then remove the bolt that holds the top portion of the power steering pump bracket onto the bracket that holds the water pump, A/C compressor, and alternator. It is a bit difficult to tell which bolt to remove. It is the 13mm bolt, not the 17mm. Then remove the two bolts that hold the power steering pump bracket onto the engine block. I would also remove the clamp that holds the power steering pump hoses located near the center of the car. You can leave the hoses connected and let the pump hang if you are careful. Cover the pump with a bag so that you don't get coolant on it. Remove the two bolts holding the thermostat housing in place. Make sure you have a large plastic container to catch the coolant. I wish new cars had drain plugs like the old cars. Coolant splatters everywhere. Pull the thermostat & O ring using pliers. Clean the surface and replace the thermostat and the O ring. You may have to loosen the nuts holding the power steering adjustment bracket to get the power steering pump back in place.

I believe if you open the drivers side door and open the fuse panel access door located on the dash you will see that there is usually a fuse in there for the washer pump. If the fuse is OK, the problem might be the pump, usually located in the bottom of the resevoir. They are notorious for dying. Replacements can be found at your local parts store.

put the top and bottom end to Top dead center loosen the disributer and turn it until the rotor is lined up with the notch.

The fuel pump is in the gas tank... open the trunk and remobe the carpet from the floor. Look for a cover... remove the cover You will see some wires leading to the pump. disconnect the wires and hoses. Mark the hoses if you need to...There is a plastic retaining ring that screws down over the top of the pump, holding it in place. Using large channel lock pliers loosen the retaining ring from the top of the pump turning it to the left. Gently pry the top of the pump with a screw driver lifting it out of the tank. An O ring seals it up so it might be a little tight. It should lift right out... easy peezy!

You can go to your nearest library and look it up in the service manuals and then make a copy.

Very easy once you know how to do it. Take a flat screw driver and slide it under the front of the rear seat at about 1/4 of the way across the seat. There is a clip the that you can push in and lift that side of the seat up. Then go about 3/4 of the way across the seat and do the same. There are only 2 clips that hold the seat in. Hopefully you've found it by now, but it's in the trunk. Should be on passenger side.

If the starter is bad no. Check battery, starter and solenoid to be sure which is bad.

If I recall... the caliper is what holds the brake pad to the rotor ;) So... DEF yes!! YES !!

You have 2 choices for window reset, first, you should push the down button to the bottom, hold it for 10 seconds, then all the way to the top, hold for same 10 seconds, this should reset the window memory. If you still have an issue, remove both battery cables and use a dual sided alligator clip wire, touch both terminals together for 30 seconds, this will discharge static, and should allow you to reset window operation. Remember, dis-connect battery terminals from battery so you do not pop computer. IF the problem remains, you are into a window switch or module, have fun.

Try a new switch or just clean the contacts on it

the power windows fuse is fuse 14

the panel says back up lights but its also for the power windows

It is located on the front side of the engine on the transmission side. It screws in right behind the front exhaust manifold where the manifold bolts to the crossover pipe.

The pump and motor assembly can be found directly behind the back seat right in the middle. just pull up hard and fast on the front edge of the bottom part of the back seat and it should pop out. You may need to feel around with your finger tips for the two locations where it's actually attched and pry it up with a large flat blade screwdriver and it will easily lift out from there. Then you'll need to remove the (2) bolts that hold down the seatbelt bracket and lift straight up on the back rest section of the seat to remove it. You'll find the pump just behind the insulation right in the middle. It sounds like a lot, but it's really quite easy. kenito
