After repairing the cause of the code, you clear with a scan tool.

tire off, brakes off, tie rod off, disconnect strut, and a few holding bolts. axle will slide out with a little bang from a hammer or a little pull if your lucky

yeah take the cover off of the head light and unscrew the light Behind the headlight is a bail, open this up and a plastic cover will come of with some wiggling. Another bail holds in the lamp, pop off to remove the lamp and replace. Make sure you keep the new lamp clean of oils from your hands.

The Trunk release relay is under the dash on an '87. It is to the right of the steering column next to the radio. It's usually a white or yellow relay. Held in a spring clip so it's easy to pull out.... The relay will have a White & black wire on it. That goes right to the trunk release mechanism If you connect 12 volts from that wire and earth it to a body ground it should pop it for you.

it is next to the ash tray. there is asymbol of the engine check just take the cover out (slide side ways). if anything there is a sticker under the steering wheel with instructions

Open the trunk and pop off the black plastic cover on whichever side is missing the light. Its kind of hard to get your hands in there, but it can be done. Once it comes off, you should be able to gently tug the plate thing that all the bulb are connected to and replace the bad bulb.

The Cabriolet is what the called the Cabrio before. The Convertible is the style of the car. It just means the top comes off. Hope that answers your question.

Cabriolet is the french word for Convertible. It's my undersdtanding that post 1995, the model Cabriolet became Cabrio.

I believe it is the same place as mine. Which is behind a small plastic cover on the dash located next to the rear window up/down buttons.

First of all, you need to remove the distributer cap, taking note of the timing mark for the number one cylender. Then you need to turn the pulley that drives the rotor to align it with the timing mark. The pulley is located on the side closest to the bumper. Next you have to remove the plug on the transmission to expose the timing mark on the flywheel. It is a clear plastic plug with a green ring around it. Then rotate the crankshaft with a socket wrench on the pulley until the timing mark is ligned up with the pointer. Then find the timing mark on the camshaft and and rotate it till its aligned with the corresponding mark. Once all the marks are ligned up, snake the belt over all the pulleys, leaving the tensioner pulley loose. Then tighten the tensioner with a piece of short wire that fits snugly in one of the holes. Then using a pair of locking pliers, grab the wire and pull till the belt is tight and tighten the nut. that should do it.

Stuck as in what? Is it like not closing/opening, or is it literally stuck in between stages? If its stuck half way, usually starting the car again or pressing the button for longer will start it again, otherwise get a repair center to look at it.

The drain is clogged. ON the firewall on the passenger side behind engine, there should be a horse shoe shaped cut in the silver insulation. I pulled that away, and ran a piece of coathanger up the tube inside of the opening. Now it drains fine.

the simplist way to get to the top motor is to simply remove the back seat by pulling out the bottom piece and unbolting the back rest. there are two bolts located at the bottom of the back rest and you need a 10mm socket wrench to remove them. after you have the back out just lift up the flap of insulation anf the motor is the little canister right in front of you.

Open the trunk. The motor is on the shelf just beyond the back of the trunk. It can also be accessed inside the car from behind the back seat. If you cannot operate the motor to raise the top it can be forced by hand. It will be difficult and slow but you will not break anything because the the mechanism is hydraulic. With the top raised kneel on the back seat and unsnap the vinyl drip shield behind the seat. Remove the hard panel underneath to expose the motor. There is a relay mounted next to it. If the motor doesn't run the relay might be bad. It should make a clicking sound when the switch is pressed. Check fuse first of course. If the relay clicks the motor is probably bad but can be fixed. Usually what happens is the brushes inside wear down until their springs no longer apply enough pressure to make contact. Take the motor apart carefully. Make sure you don't lose the bushing on the end of the shaft. Remove the brushes, stretch the springs and reassemble. This can be done without unsoldering anything, but it's tricky. If you can replace the brushes do that. I don't know if new brushes are available.

you probably have one of a couple things wrong, bad ground,bad motor,or switch. try cleaning the ground and conectors,or feal the motor to see if its hot, or check to see if you have power at the motor and follow it on up if it doesnt till you find the power loss

Literally just pop the plastic clip out with a screwdriver or pull with pliers or your hand, pull the sensor out, and install with NEW o-ring to avoid leaks, then just push the new clip into the groove

Trunk, driver's side, remove the carpet like panel. I believe ther are four screws holding the panel in place.

use jumper cables put them from your car onto another car to keep power to the car while you replace the battery if you don't have jumper cables some light insulated wire will do too it is also possible to get a cigarette to cigarette socket charger makes doing the job bit easier just let the key on and the power comes from one car into yours through the cigarette lighter socket
