Anywhere from $50.00 to $90.00. This is a rare case of you don't get what you pay for. The most expensive machines can be out of calibration and give you a bad alignment. The mechanic doing the alignment varies greatly. well maintained plates that the tires sit on are also a big factor. Getting a read out of your alignment doesn't mean that it is in tolerance. Those readouts can be altered.

I hate to say this but a majority of mechanic shops are scam shops. Yes even the major chains. I personally went to school for it and did alignments for years and the pressure from above was to get them in and out as quickly as possible but a good mechanic won't stand for it and do the job right the first time. I even had a few major car dealers bring there problem cars to me. I still have 2 cousins in the business but unless you know the mechanic personally try and find out what shops have a good reputation in that field. Most shops will let you watch so do that and ask questions. Good luck

Yes bad tie rods can cause tire wear. It is advisable that your vehicle's steering and suspension systems are checked regularly, at least once a year along with a complete wheel alignment. A worn tie rod can cause wandering, erratic steering and also major tire wear.

Hello there. Negative Caster Angles were used in many vehicles prior to 1975, including Muscle Cars, Compacts and even Sport Cars. This was done due to the pneumatic effect, which is highly prominent on radial-ply tires (Which were used on almost all vehicles up until 1975) as well as being a cheaper way to counter effect the excessive effort needed to turn muscle cars, which had large iron block engines in the front. However, these vehicles when brought into shops today will have their caster made postive. Radial-ply tires are almost never seen these days, and any increase in steering effort can be counter-acted by power steering.

Wheel alignment should be done by a professional shop. Some places (Town Fair) will not align the rear wheels on a Beretta/Corsica due to ridiculous shop policy, but they canbe done. First, ask around to see if a shop near you installs shims for alignment. Shims of proper size/thickness will need to be installed in specific areas behind the wheel bearings in order to properly adjust the rear wheels. If alignment is extremely out-of-spec, you may have a bad wheel hub, or a bent rear beam. The shop will tell you if this is the case, as they should be replaced.

Of course it's always possible to do something to adversly affect your car and if you've suspected the dealer of trying to switch your purchase, it's understandable that you would suspect them of doing something like this. At the same time there are things other than alignment or a deliberate sabotage that could cause your car to pull to the side. One of the most simple is simply having a lower tire pressure on one tire. Check the pressures first, maybe it could be that simple. Also make certain that you haven't hit a pothole or something like that since you had the tires changed. If you did --or someone else did without telling you-- you could have affected the alignment in this way.

If you mean a warped rim, it will have to be replaced.. But check first to make sure all lug nuts are tight, and have the tire and wheel balanced to see if that is the problem as well, Chuck
