Like any other service, it is possible to stop and start the service as well as configure the service to start on boot-up or by manual start. To do this, go to Start menu, Programs, Administrative Tools, and run Computer Management. In Computer Management, find and open the folder Services and Applications and then select Services. A list will appear on the right, from which you can select Oasis2Services and then click the 'Stop Services' button at the menu icon bar. Double clicking Oasis2Services will bring up the configuration properties, where you can chose Manual instead of automatic for the startup type. Doing so will prevent it from starting on boot. Now you don't have to uninstall the Oasis2Service program perminently.
