How do you replace the radio antenna on a 1993 Honda civic?

I found this on the web at:

http://www.tss-radio.com/images/HO-52-01.pdf You'll find pictures there. STEP 1. Start by removing the cigarette lighter panel. Insert a hook tool behind the top left corner of the panel and gently pull outward to release the retainer clip. Continue working the hook tool around the panel until all six (6) clips are released. Disconnect the wire harness to the lighter and set panel aside. Inside the panel opening, at the top, are two (2) 8mm hex-head screws that hold the bottom of the radio in place. Remove the screws. STEP 2. Remove the trim bezel that surrounds the radio / climate control module. Insert a hook tool behind the lower left corner of the bezel and pull firmly outward to release a retainer clip. NOTE: These clips hold more tightly than usual. Continue working the hook tool around the panel until all nine (9) clips are released. (See photo # 2. Clips are in the circled areas). Do not disconnect any wiring to the radio. Let the panel hangs downward.

How did the radio look like when it was first time invented?

The first radio used visible coiled wiring and a large circular wire antenna. It did not have a case or speakers built into it and did not look like what a person of today might expect a radio to look like. The first designs of a functional radio were created in 1888 by Heinrich Rudolf Hertz after spending two years studying James Clerk Maxell's theory on electromagnetism, a theory that proposed the existence of electromagnetic waves. Hertz's design was the first properly functional radio transceiver which could send and receive signals, although these signals weren't informative. It would still be decades until we developed this technology to resemble the humble radio we know and love today.

if it is making a clicking noise then it is probably the starter. If its and older car jump start and take the red wire off the battery. If it shuts off its the starter. If you can get to the starter hit it with a small hammer some times they just lock up. Take it to any autozone and they will tell you for sure. it also could be the fuel pump.you didnt say what is was doing. you must figure out if it getting gas, electric

actually if you take off the battery cable and it dies its the alternator not the starter

Radio waves aren't necessarily harmless. Radio waves, especially very short ones, can cook food; so they need to be used carefully too. Infrared can burn you, visible light can kill you, and UV is very destructive. But X-rays and Gamma rays are very short and will tear up molecules and even atoms without you knowing it. Be careful out there. Wear your tin-foil hat!
