life force
They certainly can - Specimens of the larger Pythons (Burmese Python or African Rock Python for example) - can consume considerably large prey animals. Same goes for the Anaconda.
well first its stupid to sleep with a large snake. And second it would eat you it matters how big you are and how hungry the snake is.
anaconda's are ambush predators, they lay motionless until prey passes and they strike. and uses their body to constrict their prey.
The question what is the biggest snake can be confusing, the biggest as far as girth (largest being measured at 44 inches or 1,1176 m) is the Green Anaconda, on average anacondas are more then 20 ft long many reaching lengths of 29ft or more, with a weight of over 550 lbs, in terms of length then and only then will the Reticulated Python exceed the anaconda, the longest python was measured at 33ft but even this python can't match the total mass of the anaconda.
Anacondas are members of the Boidae family of reptiles and spend most of their time in rivers and swamps of the Amazon in South America which makes them excellent swimmers, female anacondas are generally larger then the males and bear their young live and are called "Neonates", the number of young varies, some have produced 100 babies, but the average is between 20 to 40 babies. Diet consist of (depending on the size of the anaconda, the larger the snake the larger the prey) large/small rodents like capybaras, also pigs, caiman, jaguars, deer, dogs, birds even fish and is acquired by ambushing and constricting it's prey (the anaconda is so powerful it generally crushes it's prey) then swallowing it whole, the digestion of the anaconda is very slow thereby allowing it to survive without food for well over a year.
Anacondas have around a 30 year life span and the biggest threat to it is man and loss of their habitat.

How do you exterminate snakes?
It is better not to kill snakes if you can help it. Non poisonous snakes can actually help keep the poisonous ones away. They will also take care of rodents and many insects. Sometimes you may be in a more urgent situation. You can always shoot a snake, but only if you are experienced with firearms. It could be easy to shoot someone in the foot while trying to hit the snake if you not experienced with a firearm. Another method I have used when put in a situation I could not back away from a cottonmouth was to lop its head off with a shovel. You have to be careful doing this, and be forewarned, it is just nasty to have to do. You have to make up your mind, and do it with meaning. If you do not strike hard, you are just going to make the snake more angry.
A better method is to keep your area clean. It's not foolproof, but it helps a lot. Keep yards mowed, stacks of pots contained, stacks of old limbs disposed, and so on. If your yard is not full of comfy hiding spots for them, they are less likely to stick around.
Only as captive animals. Our winters are much too cold for Anaconda's to live outdoors year round.
Wild anacondas only live in South America. And Florida Everglades.
