Should FAQs on this site be called 'Frequently Answered Questions' instead of 'Frequently Asked Questions'?

Whichever you prefer. :-) it really could be either, but they call it frequently asked questions so that you see that many other members think of the same questions that you do about the site

Can Adderall make you sterile?

Adderall is not known to cause sterility.

Who would you sue if a 'frequently asked question' caused a financial loss?

The question is a little confusing, but I am going to assume it refers to information that the person obtained from a site such as this (or this one). When posting in open forums, no information should be used as completely factually correct and entirely pertinent to their specific situation. If one used such information and had damaging results no one is at fault except the person who used said information/opinions. There is absolutely no grounds for a lawsuit or other such recourses to recover financial losses or repair whatever type damage was incurred. Unless noted otherwise, the answers given on FAQ sites (as this one is) should be considered to be as given by non-professional people. If you had emailed a specific person who claimed to be an expert on your question's subject matter, then you could probably try and sue that person but it would still be rough, as any answer given would be "his opinion".

Will Medicaid cover Adderall prescription costs?

Unfortunately it won't. You should be able to find a .pdf of the covered medications on the Medicaid website for the state you have it through. I have it in Illinois and I have to purchase generic Adderall because it isn't covered. However, if you go to a warehouse like Costco or Sams Club (or even Walmart) your cost for generic Adderall will be rather minimal. I paid $30 this past weekend at Costco for 60 tablets of 15mg'.

What are the rules for Adderall and the navy?

ADHD and ADD aren't specifically listed as medical DQ's for military entrance, however, they will look at any prescriptions you're taking and why. It can and often does fall under the scope of personality disorders, which are disqualifying. It depends entirely on how bad it is, and whether or not the person is ongoing treatment. The Navy and military in general wants recruits who are fit both physically and mentally; with recruiting levels down, they can pick and choose from the best candidates.

The military only cares if any problem you have won't affect your learning, interaction, or discipline in a military environment. If you're taking meds, then they typically want recruits to be free of any prescriptions and medical treatment (i.e., physician's care) for such disorders for at least a year prior to entering service. They will do a urinalysis and complete blood workup at MEPS.

Can you drink baking soda after Adderall?

It might make the drug more potent. The potency depends on how acidic the body is, so drinking baking soda (alkalizes body), more of the drug might be absorbed. Not sure about drinking it after taking a pill, but it seems the XR type will probably see some effects. It seems like a lot of baking soda could do some serious things to the body which I'm not aware of.

What is the charge for Adderall without a prescription?

It depends on the amount in your possession when you were arrested.

Will doctors refuse to do autopsies?

Is it illegal to fill two subscriptions for adderall in one month?

If they were written to the same patient by two different doctors, probably. You are giving rise to probable cause for the belief that you are abusing RX drugs.

What if you get caught selling Adderall?

You go to jail. Selling narcotics and controlled substances is a felony offense.

What are the effects of add medication when you don't have add?

First off NOBODY should take any kind of prescription medication whether for A.D.D. or other conditions without first consulting a doctor and being prescribed to the medication.

A.D.D. is treated with the use of amphetamines or similar "uppers". If you don't have A.D.D. or A.D.H.D. the effects will be similar to the those experienced by patients prescribed to the medications but much more intense. The effects, intensity, and time the drug takes to kick in can vary greatly depending on the actual medication taken and whether it is instant release, which take effect quickly, or extended release, which will break down more slowly. For example extended release ADDERALL (a common A.D.D. and A.D.H.D. medication) contains two different kinds of balls in each capsule. The first dissolves immediately upon consumption, taking effect almost immediately. The second type can take up to 4 hours to dissolve releasing a delayed second wave of medication. When taking A.D.D. medication you will feel "up" or more energetic and most likely be in a better mood. You may also notice slight variations in your vision and a slight body buzz. In most cases it will also increase your ability to stay focused and your productivity/work ethic. Side effects include dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, constipation, restlessness, loss of appetite, and an uncomfortable feeling similar to getting goose bumps. Amphetamines also makes it extremely difficult to fall asleep and/or stay asleep. For this reason theses medications should be taken as early in the day as possible to avoid a late night. Unless of course having trouble staying awake and aware is one of your reasons for using an A.D.D. medication.

I have heard that some A.D.D. medications are also used for weight loss but I am not sure if this is a common or healthy method for weight loss. I hope i was able to help answer some of your questions about A.D.D. medications and their effects.

What is the doasge comparison of 54 Mg of Concerta to the dosage of Adderall XR?

First off the the two drugs are completely diffent substances. Yes, they are both FDA approved for the use of ADD and ADHD therapy, but Concerta falls under the class of methelphenadate type stimulants where as Adderall Xr is a stimulant medication that is derived from amphetamine and is made up of the 4 different salts which create a combination known as Amphetamine Salts. The dosage of 54 mg in Concerta would be comparable to the 30 mg. XR of Adderall, being that they are both the strongest dosage that you can possible obtain, but of course you may recvieve more than one dosage per day depending on individuals tolerance, weight, sex and height. Both drugs have stimulant effects but work on the brain differently.

Can you mix 40mg adderall with coffee and cigarettes?

I'm guessing probably not. Sounds like it would be too much pressure on your heart. Do you have asthma?

Can you pass a pre employment drug screen if you take your prescribed adhd medication daily?

Absolutely. That is the point of obtaining a prescription. The drug may be street quality, if not better, but if you get it prescribed, its perfectly legal. Just make sure you can prove you are prescribed.

You will fail the test but if you show your employer the prescription they will let it go. I'm pretty sure they are required to by law.

Tested positive for coke did not use coke?

Depends on the company doing the test and which test it was. Some of the less expensive tests tend to give false positives. Offer to pay for a retest and/or find out if any of the OTC or prescription drugs you are taking would be the cause of the problem.
