I'd have to say a Yamaha Big Bear 400. Never had and problems beside the usual problems of all atvs. The next best brands would probaly be Honda.

The oil in an ATV is the very same oil you put in any vehicle except a diesel. Just buy the correct weight oil, any major brand.

The most likely problem is crud in the idle jet..... Happens often... My buddy and I experience this all the time. The new gas with ethanol goes bad fast and algae will start to grow.... We have actually found algae in the carb bowl.... It's a pain in the butt.

Just really depends on Manufacturer and where you purchase from.For a better deal I would look locally first just spread the word your lookin for a 4-wheeler instead of going to a atv dealer.

No, you don't have to mix gas and oil in a Honda TRX 250EX. The engine is a four - stroke and four - strokes don't need to mix. Two- stroke engines (which are on weedeaters, chainsaws etc.) need to mix oil and usually say in the manual or a sticker on the machine how much oil and how much gas you need.

Disassemble the engine and remove the camshaft and chain. Assemble with everything aligned correctly. For specific details research your ATV model for instructions.

***There should be a cover over the Camshaft gear. That's the cover to remove. Once removed there will be a chain tensionor that you will need to remove (either automatic or manual) once removed you could loosen the bolt holding the cam gear in place.

There will be a nut on your flywheel cover for viewing the mark for TDC. There will also be a mark in your cam gear housing to lign up with the mark on your cam gear. - Look up specifics for your model mudder.. *** Hope that helps. You should always refer to a service guide for instruction.

Yes,.. kind of...on the front "axle". Each wheel up front has its own 'wishbone' style hub mounts, ball joints, and shock absorbers. In the rear, its a different story.... solid axle with one big shock for the entire rear end.

you cant tighten spokes on an ATV, they have solid aluminum or steel rims. but you can tighten spokes on a dirt bike by getting a spoke wrench and tightening the nipple at the end of the spoke closest to the rim.

I would say a ltr450r because it has a wide suspension and it makes it hard to flip over but any atv isnt really truly safe it just depends how you ride it hope this helps

on the bottom of the engine there is a drain plug just like a car if you have a skid plate you might not be able ti see it but its there you do not have to take the skid plate off there is a hole and the oil filter is on the side of the engine usually three 8mm bolts just that little cover comes off

i replaced the ignition coil and the starter but the batery is dead but wen i went to start it the oil was shooting out of the carborator.

First and foremost do not attempt to start the engine, before asessing the amount of water infiltration. Drain the oil first, then run fresh oil through the crankcase until it is clear. Pull the spark plug(s), spray WD-40 in the cylinder, clean the plug (replace if necesary), drain the gas, fill with fresh gas, drop the float bowl (bottom of carb), if you see water or grime deposits, pull the carb and spray it out until its clean. Remove/clean/dry or replace air cleaner element. Check ALL electrical connections and blow dry them out. Also check all joint boots/steering and wheel bearings, repack with marine grade grease. Then reassemble and crank over a few times with fresh oil. Should fire up after that.
