Where can you find literature on making a battery from potato?
You can search Google, or YouTube, using the corresponding keywords: probably something like "battery from potato".Note that the fact that you can do it doesn't necessarily mean that this is the best use for potatoes, or the best way to make a battery; perhaps it is mainly of academic interest - or perhaps not: some of the corresponding websites claim it has a great potential.
Defective voltage regulator, which is built into the alternator. Have the alternator tested. Most auto parts store will do this for free.
I have no idea what a normal household battery is. Generally you would have to match the current and voltage of the car battery and then you have the issue of how long the battery can sustain the current, or ampere hours.
What does it mean when your car dies and your battery and oil light comes on?
Both the "battery" and "oil" idiot lights turn off when the engine is running and thus indicates that the alternator is putting out current to recharge the battery, and the oil pump is circulating enough oil to maintain a safe oil pressure to protect the running engine.
When your vehicle "dies," that means the engine is not running, and thus these indicator lights tell you that the alternator is not putting out current, and the oil pressure is below a preset level.
Will a cell phone charger kill the car battery?
Maybe if you left it plugged in for 6 months without starting the car. Then again, if you let a car sit for 6 months, the battery may croak anyway. So, in short: No.
Where are the terminals on the battery for a 1997 Chevy Lumina?
under the winsheild washer reservoir.
the positive terminal is located under the windshield washer reservior and the negative terminal is located on a bolt on the engine (metal)
What are 18650 batteries What are they used for?
18650 batteries are batteries that can be used for many various activities. Just like your AA or AAA batteries, you can use these for various things too.

What is advantage of different firing order 351W verses 302?
There is no significant advantage other than less peak twisting stress over the entire length the crankshaft. The firing orders are 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 for the 351W and HO 302 motors vs. 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 for early 289 and 302 Windsor motors. Connecting rods 1 and 5, 2 and 6, 3 and 7, and 4 and 8 share the same crank journals. Looking at the firing order the early 289/302's fired 1 and 5 at the very front of the crank in order. This placed torque stresses from two cylinders in power stroke on the very front throw of the crank at the end furtherest away from the load of the crank. The later HO and 351W firing order places common power strokes further back in the crank, reducing peak twisting stresses over the length of the crank.
How can fruits be used as batteries?
Acid is the key. Check the link for a great YouTube video showing how to make a batter from lemons.
How long should I charge my Tenergy 9.6v 3800mAh airsoft battery for on a 8.4v charger?
You shouldn't. Different voltages aren't compatible.
Sorry i only know who created the first flashlight and that is
In 1898, Hubert and an employee named David Misell created the first flashlight. Hubert's American Electrical Novelty and Manufacturing Company received the patent for the creation.
I hope it helps.

Give example of primary secondary cells?
A primary cell can't be recharged, for example am ordinary 'D' cell, while secondary cells are rechargeable, e.g. one of the cells in a car battery.
What causes a car battery to cross polarize?
A typical car battery is made out of Lead, Lead Oxide and an acidic solution of water and sulphuric acid.
When the battery is used, discharging and recharging, there will be particles formed that due to gravity will drop down and form an increasing layer of conducting material at the bottom.
With use, the cells will eventually shortcut due to this layer building up and "touching" the plates of lead/lead oxide.
What is the condition for maximum current that can be drawn from a cell?
The maximum current that a cell can deliver flows when the resistance between
the terminals of the cell is zero. This situation occurs when the terminals are
connected by a conductor with very low resistance, such as a thick wire or a
wrench. But not for long.
How to connect multiple lead acid batteries?
with the right connectors, doesn't take an rocket scientist to figure that one out.
What effect does connecting cells in series aiding have on current and voltage?
-- A stack of several cells connected in series presents several times the voltage
of a single cell.
-- The current depends on the 'load' connected between the battery's terminals.
But since the current through any load is directly proportional to the voltage across
it, several cells in series ... with their increased voltage ... will produce several times
as much current as the same load would draw from a single cell.
