How do you get used to being by yourself?
You don't and you can't. You need your old friends or even invite strangers to visit. Everybody needs somebody to talk to sometimes. You will find new friends. Being a recluse or hermit is not how you lived and not a good way to spend your days now. You can't replace your loved one. You can still enjoy the company of friends.
What are 5 differences between solar and wind energy?
solar energy is energy from the sun and wind energy is energy from the wind
How do bio alcohol work as a fuel?
Bioalcohols, primarily ethanol and methanol, are produced through the fermentation of biomass, such as crops and agricultural waste. They serve as renewable fuels by undergoing combustion in engines, releasing energy while emitting fewer greenhouse gases compared to fossil fuels. Bioalcohols can be used alone or blended with gasoline, enhancing octane ratings and improving engine performance. Their production and use contribute to reducing reliance on fossil fuels and promoting sustainable energy practices.
How are chemists helping in the development of biofuels?
They try to experiment I see what can be used as fuel and how it could possibly affect the environment.
Bio means life... But that's just the Greek root. It can be a short form of biography, the story of someone's life.
Can you use biodiesel in an AGA and boiler?
Yes, biodiesel can be used in an AGA (a type of cast iron stove) and boiler, but it requires some modifications. Many AGAs and boilers are designed to operate on traditional fossil fuels, so using biodiesel may necessitate changes to the fuel delivery system and burner components to ensure compatibility. It's essential to consult the manufacturer’s guidelines and possibly seek professional advice to ensure safe and efficient operation. Always check local regulations regarding the use of biodiesel in heating appliances.
Can a Volvo v40 1997 year be run on biodiesel?
Hi yes you can run your car on bio diesel and it doesn't affect the performance of the car. we have a Volvo v40 1999 & v40 2001 running on 100% bio diesel.
But you will have change your fuel filter once you have done 200 miles which cost about £7 for replacement part and take 10 mins to change and you can use a oil filtyer remover tool to get it off. it is located under the bonnet on the passengers side at the back at the botttom screwed on side ways and it sshould be white in colour. as the bio diesel will break down the residue left from normal diesel in the fuel filter which could block the fuel pipes and injectors.
That's all you will need todo to run your car on 100% bio diesel.
Hope this helps
What are the advantages and disadvantages of bio-diesel?
doesn't work well in cold temperatures
BIODIESEL
ADVANTAGES:
Biodiesel is an alternative fuel to standard fossil fuels that can be made from fats and vegetable oils. It contains no petroleum or petroleum-products. If made correctly, it can be used in diesel engines with few or no modifications.
DISADVANTAGES
The main issue is producing biodiesel in a sustainable way. This means an emphasis on agricultural practices that do not use rainforests. Some Biofuels are more harmful than others.
Rapeseed may produce more CO2 than fossil
Why is biomass considered renewable resource?
Biomass is a renewable energy source because we can always grow more trees and crops, and waste will always exist.

What is the chemical structure of biodiesel?
Biodiesel is primarily composed of fatty acid methyl esters (FAME), which are derived from the transesterification of triglycerides found in vegetable oils or animal fats. The chemical structure of biodiesel consists of long hydrocarbon chains with a carboxylate group (–COO–) at one end, where the fatty acids are esterified with methanol. The exact structure can vary depending on the source of the feedstock, leading to a mixture of different ester molecules in the final biodiesel product. Overall, biodiesel is characterized by its hydrophobic hydrocarbon chains and ester functional groups.
How much heat each person produce?
It varies with weight and activity, but a widely accepted approximation is 100 Watts, or 340 Btu/hr, averaged throughout the day.
In 1937, E-Chatton suggested the term "Eucariotique" to describe animal and plant cells.
