1) Turn they key to the II position

2) Turn the key to the off position, and push and hold in the odometer reset button

3) Turn they key back to the II position, while still holding the button.

4) After about 10-15 seconds, the light should go off.

make sure the system is bleed out you can do this if u have a radiator cap with pressure relieve valve just let the car get to operating temp and release the valve if it is sputtering out coolant and steam it is not properly bled and after it has cool down. pour more coolant and repeat till you get constant coolant running out. and if you don't have a pressure relief radiator cap their should be a bleeder screw on the thermostat housing and you would do the same the above. and if that doesn't work that mean that the passages inside the engine could be blocked take garden hose pour water from the top radiator hose (disconnect from the bottom too ) and pour water till it is comin out clear and do it vese-verse and make sure temp senor and Temp swicth are good i told you what i know so be care full

I have a 2006 BMW 330xi. It does not have the iDrive Navigation system. To fix this problem make sure you have the correct pressure in all 4 tires, and your spare if you have one. Well you could probably call the dealer with your VIN but an easier way would be to pop the hood and on the passenger side strut tower behind the airbox should be a sticker with the stock paint name.

BMW745I the zf-transmissions in the e38 7-series are prone to failure if they aren't serviced properly. A lot of them haven't been serviced, as the trasmission is a so called "sealed for life-unit". That means it is made to be maintanance free, thus it needed no servicing, according to bmw. The problem is that there is really no such thing as a service free transmission. A lot of these cars develop expensive transmission problems due to lack of fluid and filter change, or simply because they've been serviced the wrong way, using the wrong type of filter or oil etc. When failsafe mode kicks in, it might be a very expensive problem, or a fluid and filter change might solve the problem. The only way to find out is to drain the oil and remove the oil pan. Because these problems can be very complicated and expensive, it is very important to get the transmissions serviced regularly, at least every 60.000 miles. If serviced, these transmissions are generally very reliable and long lasting.

You need the European "mineral" style fluid. Its about $25 a quart. The fluid is made by Pentosin. You should be able to get this fluid at the auto parts store. You will need to find a well informed parts person to get the bottle for you though. It probably won't be out with all the other fluids.

My 2001 Honda Civic LX low beams went out and only the high beams worked. I checked with my local Honda Dealer and there is a recall on certain vin numbers. Mine was on the recall list. The dealer repair it at no charge to me.

I believe the 2006 uses the same Homelink garage door opener as my 2001. Here are the steps for programming a single button: - Make sure you have the garage door opener with you. - Turn the key to ACC (no need to have the car running, but you need power) - press and hold the 2 outside buttons for around 20 seconds (it may be a bit longer) until the center light begins to flash. That erases whatever was in the memory. - Now press and hold the garage door opener and the button you are looking to program. The light should blink slowly, and the blink faster after about 4-5 seconds. - Release both buttons. - Try the button you just programmed. If the door opens, you're done. If it doesn' open, you need to do 2 more steps to program the new code into the garage door opener itself. - Leave the key in the car. Go to the garage door motor in the garage. There will be a wire hanging down. That's the antenna. At the top of the wire (possibly behind the light bulb cover) will be a button marked "learn" or something similar. - Press that button. Now you have about 30 seconds. Go to the car and push the button you just programmed. It should open the door. To add a second car, repeat these steps. The garage opener can handle codes from multiple cars. Good luck.
