it is hydraulic fluid..it dissipates heat well and it will not rust the lines, it may get dirty over time but it is stable at high temperatures to deal with the friction from the brakes.

Might depend on HOW MUCH brake fluid you put in there, but not much.

The radiator holds quite a lot of mostly water, so a dash of brake fluid will quickly become very diluted.

But since the radiator doesn't expect brake fluid, it'd make sense to have it flushed and refilled as soon as possible.

A 2010 Jeep Liberty uses DOT3 brake fluid.

The trans dipstick tube runs up the passenger side of the engine. The fluid is added through it. The dipstick itself is a special tool that only the dealer has.

I'm not sure how to seal your leaking tail light...but I had the same problem, even after replacing the original tail lights years later, I ended up with the same problem with the new tail light assemblies.

Anyway -- since I wasn't able to seal the tail light assembly, I took the tail light off the car and in the top of the tail light assembly above the area where the water was leaking in I drilled a small hole (that you couldn't see when the light was reinstalled) and then a slightly bigger hole on the bottom of the light where the water collects. The air flowing through the top hole forced the water out of the bottom hole. Start with real small holes and increase a little at a time if needed. I hope this will satisfy you problem.

Brake fluid is hydroscopic, which means it absorbs water from the atmosphere so it has to come from a sealed container and your cars brake fluid needs changing every two years.

Light yellowish colour is ok, if its a dark colour it needs changing.

Garages have equipment to provide this service but if you want to DIY, keep bleeding all 4 wheels until you have used at least a quart of brake fluid. Keep the reservoir full during this process and don't let it go dry.

If you're talking front ones, and they were installed properly and the system doesn't develop other problems to cause premature wear, and also depending if you're talking city or highway driving, not to mention what quality of parts were installed, I would expect about 35,000. If you have rear drum brakes and you keep them adjusted every 12,000 miles your fronts may last longer. If we are talking rear shoes I would expect 75,000 miles, rear disc brakes about 50,000 miles

What ever the owner's manual states or what is describe on the top of the reservoir. DOT 3 more than likely.

check each wheel on the inside, if it's a leaking wheel cylindar the inside of the wheel will be wet. If they are all dry, it's probably the master cylindar. May see it below the master on the booster, or it may be going into the booster. It should be visible somewhere, park in a space you know is clean and check the ground in the morning, but checking the tires should tell you if that's the problem.

To compensate for the wear on the brakes. As the brake pads wear down, they move closer to the rotors, and this brings the brake fluid level down slightly.
