you can take the tail light out by unscrewing the wing nuts in the trunk, when all wing nuts are off pull the tail light out then take the light bulbs out to replace the tail light.

The fuse box is located in the glove box. When you open the glove box you will see a square black door that says "fuse". Pull door down and foward, fuses are all right there.

Any time you have no power to the headlamps I would concentrate on a bad battery cable or ground cable or battery connection. It works now once in a while, but if you don't get it taken care of, it will soon fail totally. Trace and clean all connections starting from the battery back thru all connections and DON'T skip any that "look good".

There are several reasons for this. 1. TV cable is not adjusted properly 2. Low Fluid level 3. Front pump failure 4. Wiring/Solonoid problem (Electrical) Are you getting any Error Codes from the computer? TommyTrouble

Tires out of balance, belt in tire has slipped, ie defective tire, bent wheel, loose lug nuts, loose or worn bearings. Check lug nuts and tighten to the proper torque. Have the tires rotated and balanced. Inspect the suspension and all stering parts. Have you used "fix a flat" ? if yes, You have 2-lbs of water inside your tire now. it cost me 70 bucks to find out and this stuff easts chrom weels. Go to alignment shop and tell them to jack up ur car and they use a special machine to turn the back wheels one by one to find out which one is out of ballance ( dont let them take the wheels off and ballance them since they balance tires and speed lower than 50mph and usually stuff happens around 55 to 60mph. for front tires u can just jack up one wheel at a time and put the car in drive and accelerate one wheel is on the ground and the one you jacked up turns and u ask some one to look at the wheel see if it shakes ( it shakes really bad if water inside the tire) do the same of other front wheel. But for back wheels u need that special machine which alignment shops have and all these machines do they turn the wheel up to 130 mph to see if it shakes or not.

The oil filter is located on the passenger side of the engine I got at mine from the top of the car and found it easiest to replace it from there. It is down middle of the engine.

Remove the spark plugs wire and remove the plugs wit a spaerk plug wrench or socket.

I did not have a "popping sound". That might mean its a cable. Rather, my key would not turn. This happened to me today on my 97. I had to let down the rear passenger seats, climb in the truck, remove the trim screws on the truck lid, push the liner back, and use a screwdriver to release the latch--it was at where a little green tab was near the upper part of the latch mechanism. Then the lock still did not work. The lock is now at the locksmith for repair. I'll post tomorrow to say if this worked. I suspect it would be not too expensive to have a bodyshop do this if you don't feel like it. Actually, a body shop suggested I give it a try. Best, David

The most likely problem is warped rotors. Have rotors turned or replaced. Replace front brake pads.

Answer First, to drop the pan and refill after reinstallation does NOT change all of the fluid. The fluid in the torque converter, valve body, etc, remains. A partial change is better than nothing, but by no means complete. The filter can and should be changed while the pan is off, it's easy to do. inspect and clean the pan while it's off, looking for metallic debris in the pan, which is NOT a good thing. Means your tranny is in trouble! Fluid should be clean red. A burned smell, obviously, is bad. if it appears brown/milky looking, suspect water/coolant contamination from fluid cooler in the radiator. Don't drive it! Fluid contaminated this way will wreck the transmission fast. When installing the pan, there is a sequence in which the bolts must be tightened, and should be done with a torque wrench to avoid distorting the pan by over tightening. Tightening sequence and torque specs can be found in a shop manual for your car.

If the car is a 01 or 02 with the 3.5l engine then the oil filter is located in the oil pan. If you look directly at the bottom of the oil pan you will see a black plastic cap (about 3" around). This is the oil filter cover. Remove this cover by unscrewing it ( counter clockwise - using a cup type oil filter wrench ) . The oil filter is in side this cap and is a cartridge type. ( it looks more like a fuel filter than an oil filter.

I would have to say, around the time the second car was built. Hot rodders are a competition driven type of person. A hot rod is a car modified for performance, or, all the way too an extension of themselves. So, quick analysis tells me, you would need a car, to make a hot rod, and a reason. That would be another car to "beat", or "upscale". If one goes back through the "motivation" of the "competition" hot rodder, in the beginning, there were not "drag strips". The first "organization" of hot rodders, was the DTV. Danville, Timing, Association. Timing. They governed the "dry lakebeds", which only one car ran at a time, and it was for timing, not side by side racing. Thinking back to my inspirations throughout my racing, the car set a base time. I modified it to "improve", or "reduce" that time, out of "pride", "challenge", and for a source of pride, and accomplishment. So, maybe I am wrong. Maybe it was way before the second car. It might have been the first one, a day, or so earlier..........Chuck.

Usually about 5 quarts, no more. I have a 1995 Century, and change my own oil and filter. I usually : place oil collector pan under bolt that you'll be loosening, then loosen the bolt, let the oil drain into pan, when it's just a very slight drizzle, I put the bolt in, be careful you don't drop the bolt into the pan first, then I tighten the bolt, ......then take my "little" oil filter remover tool, (because the filter is small....looking at an oil filter right now, it is a FRAM 3387 A "Extra Guard" filter...... I am 99.9% sure the 1994 is a 3387A also... ...oil filter is out now, then I take my new filter, and put a little new oil from one of my quarts I am going to put in, and put a little around the oil filters rubber gasket and around the female threaded center of the oil filter, and place it in the engine, and scew in and hand tighten pretty good..... OK, all done below......now I pull the oil pan that the oil I drained it into from under the engine-car... ...UP TOP I have my 5 quarts of oil ready to put in... ....I put in 4 quarts one after the other, then start it up, run it for a minute.......turn it off, and check the oil to see how far down it is.... ....usually it'll take just about 5 quarts or all of the 5 quarts....sometimes I put in 4 quarts and put in some "MARVEL MYSTERY OIL" AND maybe some synthetic or REAL GOOD STUFF, you know what I mean.... I have ALOT of miles on my 1995.....good luck

get under the car and reach between bumper and radiator and slide the hook over and u can open the hood

On my 99 Century 3.1l V6, the low pressure port is on the inverted "U" section of the low pressure line on the firewall near the EGR valve.
