How do you replace the water pump on a 1998 Chevy Malibu v6 and what tools are needed?

You will need 8mm and 10mm sockets, and wrenches, 1/4 inch rachet and a good size pry tool like a screwdriver. I changed mine without removing the belt. The pump is behind the larger pully on the top front of the 3.1. It is smaller than the pully so you won't see it until you remove the pully. It's not difficult, just watch which way the pump is setting before removing it and put the new one in the same way you can scribe a mark to check alignment before removeal. Be sure to use some type of gasket sealer like Indian head to keep the gasket in place. Good Luck

Where is the fuse for the auto alarm system in a 92 missan maxima you can't get it to stop beeping The anti-theft fuse doesn't stop it?

Take key from ignition and lock the drivers door, then unlock it. Another way is to put the key into the trunk lock and turn it. Stop locking the car by depressing lock when you exit. Use the key or automatic door locks.

Can 24 inch rims fit a 1994 caprice?

You should be able get the 24's on that car with a 5" lift since b-body cars like the caprice have a large wheel well. But if you are looking for a decent turn radius or would like to go with 26's you could always go with 7" complete kit. That 7" kit comes with everything you need to correct your alignment after putting on big rims. If you still want to go with the 5" kit you should at least get extended shocks with it so you can keep your ride quality as smooth as possible but a 5" kit for 26's would involve some trimming.

How do you replace a heater core in a 1993 sedan deville?

I just had the dealer replace mine and it was $75 for the part and $100 for the labor, so it can't be too hard to get at. I thought it would cost more than $175.

Check all your accessories pulled by the belt. There are a lot of bearings in these accessories that can cause the " chirping noise".

How do you remove the door panels on a 95 Cadillac deville so you can change the speakers?

remove all the obvious screws, and then start popping out towards you (there are clips holding panel in) you may need to replace clips once out, cause theyre plastic and one-way...available at most parts stores...also.. ...everyone should have a manual for their vehicle(parts store or dealer), and a local library should have professional shop manuals available in the REFERENCE section for free...make copies of the appropriate sections...read up and good luck :)
