What oil do you use in your 2005 Cadillac Deville?

I can't remember exactly when they switched from a 10w30 to a 5w30 recommendation. I think it was right around 2004 or so. Pop the hood and look at the oil cap. GM was good about putting oil weight recommendations on the oil cap.

1998 cadillac deville runs hot why?

Try replacing the motor to the a/c fan on the passenger side of the vehicle. That was the cause for my 98 deville to overheat. They sell the whole assembly for about $150.00 but they also sell the motor separate for $50.00. Its a lil more work but it'll save you $100.00

I doubt it. I have a 2003 Monte Carlo with 20" rims and if I'm turning sharp and hit a slight bump it rubs slightly on the inside of the wheel well. Just enough to shine up the metal and put a little wear on the tire. They look great though.

When I start my 1992 Cadillac Deville the engine runs at high. When I turn my car off the gas pedal pumps itself for a couple of minutes and there is a clicking in the engine. Please help?

The ISP Idle Speed Control controls the speed of the engine and may need to be replaced. It is located top front of the engine next to air intake and has a stop screw sticking out that sets the idle electronically. The clicking is normal and is probably coming from the ISP . My 95 Deville has clicked since it was new.

What are the steps in fixing the heating system on a 1992 Cadillac Sedan DeVille?

My 1992 Deville had the heater core go. If your always low on coolant, than this may be your prolem. It's behind the glove box. You unsrew the glove box, slide it out, unplug the lights from it. There is a black cover at the bottom you unscrew as well. You will see a black box with the fan adjustor on it. It has a little arm connected to a small motor. The arm shouldn't be loose. Turn your key on, change your temperature from hot to cold, you should see the arm move. If no, make sure its not stuck, check your fuses. If it does move.. continue readin. lol Under that there is a box, make of peices. I think its only like 4 screws and it's open. Right front side of the engine where the maxifuse centre on the left veiwing from the front you'll see two coolant lines. They are tricky to get out. Pop the rubber tubes off. Go back inside and pull the heater core out. Switch it the opposite way for the new one. I used c-clamps putting the new one in because they are so much easier to work with, especially with the room provided. You can use a used one from a bigger GM car around that year. Might last a week to 4 years. Or just buy new, but costs.
