They make a gravel vacuum they are anywhere from $10-$75. It will take most of the water out, that's probably going to be your best bet. I've also heard you are not supposed to take all the water out. leave some because it has natural nutrients. For turtles, since they're so dirty, change 50% of the water.. Personally I change about 75%.

here is how to do it: pour some water from the tank into a big bowl then put all the fish in there, then wash the rocks clean the tank or whatever then once you have cleaned the tank let it sit for about 24 hours then after the 24 hours you put the fish back into the tank. PS ive tried it other ways and it doesnt work

My friend has 2 red eared sliders and they have red ears so that is why they are red eared slider and if there ear is orange they might just be young or been in the water it went away but mostly it just means they are young.

Can turtles and dart frogs live together in the same habitat?
This is EXTREMELY inadviseable. Dart frogs are toxic. While they are much less toxic in captivity, they still produce toxins. They are also extremely small. Turtles are omnivores, and may decide to try to take a bite. This would be fatal for the frog AND possibly for the turtle. Dart frogs are poor swimmers, and would drown in a water turtle's pool. Box turtles and other land turtles would definitely see the frogs as a potential meal.
In general, it's not a good idea to mix different herp species in one cage. If you are really set on doing so, it must be a HUGE enclosure, with hiding space and habitat for all of the inhabitants, and they must all have the same environmental requirements. Obviously, they should also all be around the same size, and not prone to prey on one another. Dart frogs and turtles--NOT a good mix.
